I have a gorgeous wife, 2 natural sons, 2 step-sons and one we kind of brought in an nurtured for a couple of years since his parents threw him out. The boys have been out on their own for about 6 years now, some a bit longer.
I'm 20 years old. A business management major at NIU.
Played highschool ball at a fairly high level which kept me in shape and got me into lifting around the age of 13-14.
Decided to go the university route instead of sticking with basketball at some division 3 school (plus, was a little burntout after 12 months of bball for 4 years)
My freshmen year @ college I didn't lift at all. Sad really, and pathetic . Started getting "skinny fat" drinking too much, etc. etc. Started to change all that the beginning of my sophmoore year and been making some great progress. I've exceeded all my previous numbers which is cool. I don't feel like I'm "catching up" but rather am entering a level where I've never been before. I love it.
Nice to read all your posts, I just learned a lot about all of ya
I'm from north Texas. I'm a project (electronics) engineer for a Federal Agency. I turn 55 in October. I've been lifting off and on for a number of years.
Been married 21 years.
I am a conservative Republican and support our military 100%. I hate government intrusion in certain areas of our lives so I suppose I have some Libertarian tendencies.
I am all for the intelligent use of steroids because of the benefit I derive from their use.
Love SciFi and comic book heros. The latest batch of Marvel comix movies are 'da bomb.
Thought this thread could use a little canadian flavour...Mike from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sale Rep for a tobacco company....I know I know but I don't smoke or promote it. Management student with one more painful year to go and I love to lift weights.
rock on bros! thanks for your replies. It is good to hear from a Canadian as well. There are plenty of good Canadian bros here. Good Stuff Viper, Chewy, BoogerSnak (wtf?) ,HardLife, and Velvett that was not much of a glimpse into your world babe. I am certain you have a few details you could share.
I'm 34 (35 in NOV - OH dear GOD!) and I'm a born and rasied New Yorker.
I was a competitive/pro figure skater and now I do work as an interior designer.
I was first introduced to weights and speed skating back in the early 80’s as additional training for skating. I’ve been training on and off since and after finally getting over coming two ridiculous injuries and weird health issues these past two years I've found my groove again.
I've been rollerblading since the late 80's and often us this as cardio for the spring-fall months.
I like a quite simple life, I like to read, write, cook, used to paint (it's been a while) and I like movie, Sci-fi channel, Discovery and home shows (go figure).
