I am a mesomorph and have been somewhat bulky at one time from training very hard and didn't feel as feminine as I wanted( I read a different thread where women that say that really piss most of you off, sorry just being honest).
I was responding to that portion of FChic's post, and related completely. I may be wrong, but it sounds like she was asking so many questions that made you *impatient* for 2 reasons: one, because this stuff is fascinating to the average woman with a non-medical background and two, because she doesn't want to bulk up again.
my problems with the depo seem to be resolving. no more breast tenderness or water retention. now i'm just left with my big-ass thighs and waist that i can barely fit into my clothing.
Know what? I LOVE lifting heavy, and I hate that my fitness goals are incompatible with this. And I respect all the women here who have gone the strength route and are comfortable and PROUD of what they've accomplished. Just explain what seem to be very incongrous ideas about weight and diet...minus the pissy attitude.
Bikinimom and Makedah, you seem to get what I'm saying, and it's good to be heard and understood. Thanks.
Fitnesschic, I didn't mean to butt into your thread. But when it comes to bulking, and being afraid to eat more calories for fear of getting even bigger, I know where you're coming from. I hope you find something on this board that works for you...most of the folks here are AWESOME.
