Piperine and Steroids???

I began taking turmeric for its health effects and noticed that it is usually combined with piperine in order to enhance absorption. Apparently it increases it by 2000%.

After doing a little reading I noticed that piperine affects drug absorption for many drugs much like grapefruit juice does due to its effects on CYP3A4 inhibition. However it is also inhibits p-glycoprotein enzymes which plays a role in steroid metabolism somehow...I'm not sure how.

So do you guys know if it would enhance the effect of steroids(oral/injectable) or would it decrease it?

Piperine can enhance the pharmacokinetic parameters of resveratrol via inhibiting its glucuronidation, thereby slowing its elimination.
Piperine can stimulate pigmentation in the skin, together with the exposure to UVB light.
Piperine has shown 'anti-depression like activity', and cognitive enhancing effects in rats.
