Pintoca...Do they have trailer parks in Germany or Europe ?

haven't seen them in Germany, here they have social housing for poor people, free of charge.

they do have some "gardens" close to the railroad lines that look like trailers but are actually spots of terrain you can rent for gardening during the weekends, they put up wooden houses there.

Must be a German thing.

anyway, in Italy I saw something that looked like a trailer part, it turned out to be a long-term camping place, where you actually pay per year and you can live your trailer there, but you are not allowed to live.

I think it's a US invention orb

PINTOCA - Do you have an accent?

mixed

I learned english by watching American TV in the 80s... cable TV with subtitles. Vocabulary came from reading LOTS of novels, specially early Stephen King.

When I started working (for BP) I went to work with a shitload of Brits and scottish. Later on lived 2 years in Trinidad.

If anything, the most recurrent comment I have received concerning my accent is that it's hard to place and it sounds Texan.

In Europe I'm constantly mistaken for an American (since the English here is very British as a general rule).

Because of my last name, people think I'm Portuguese, but they never ever figure out I'm from South America, which makes sense since we are simply a mixture of different races and there's no Native-south American fenotype you can look at

nutshell = yes, I do have an accent, not a :mexican: one
