What follows may be very difficult for you to grasp, because it is probably safe to assume that you don't build relationships with others in the same way that I do. You probably do not see this site in the same way that I do, and quite frankly you are so self absorbed that people generally don't take much of an interest in you.
I post pictures of me, and my friends, and my activities that I do off of the board because I believe, and I will explain why, that others find it interesting. Why do I believe this? Because I like learning about other people on here, seeing their families, pets, new cars, guitar rigs, or even posed shots of them flexing (I'm not gay by the way). I like it when chicks post up revealing shots of themselves (that's testosterone for ya) and I think ultimately it brings us all closer together.
See, I view this site, particularly this board, as an online community. its Chat and Conversation, we aren't talking about anything too specific. Just blowing off steam, looking for some humor, maybe some advice, or a place to vent. In the case of advice, I don't know about you, but I like to know a little something about the people that I'm taking advice from.
I particularly like hearing from guys older than me, because I will (hopefully) continue to age, and I really value the life experiences and opionions of a guy who's say, mid 30s, 40s, 50s... because its one of the ways to get some insider info on what life is like. We've got bros from all over the country and the world, I like learning about what life is like in other areas, seeing what life is like in other areas. I like to hear about married bros, or dudes just turning 21 and living it up in college.
When I post stuff pertaining to me, that is me exposing a bit more about my life. I am pretty open with info, it wouldn't be hard to track me down if someone really wanted to. I try to be as real on here as I am in real life. I do go over the top here, for sure. I play on a lot of inside jokes too that would make no sense off board. But when I say "hey I met a chick I really like, here is why, here is how we met" it is just as if I was telling it to a close friend. Maybe you don't feel like a close friend so this level of intimacy feel awkward, I can understand that, just ignore me, or avoid my threads, if you do that I promise you'll never have to see me reveal myself anymore.
You wonder what type of guy has 50,000 posts on a message board, or shows pictures to near stangers, you think that is weird, you think I must have a problem. Well I too wonder things about people on this board, I wonder who on earth would start a post off to someone with this: "blow me cockboy. and wootoom youre a piece of shit too."
And then I remind myself that another benefit to this board is it exposes me to people that I would never have a conversation with in real life, and you sir, are one of those.

You never actually clarified exactly which one of these "interpretations" you had in mind. You simply stated that there are two. Congratulations. This proves me wrong, because...? I'm sorry, my grasp of the English language is not very good, you'll have to throw me a bone. Actually, I don't care, so don't bother.
I never claimed that you don't have a life outside of these boards. No, the pictures of all of your cool friends have certainly sunk that theory. I just find it very strange that someone with so many cool friends has to post on an online message board forty times a day...can't you just chat it up with your friends? Would you feel comfortable telling people that you have 50,000 posts on a bodybuilding forum, in which you divulge your most personal information?
Oh by the way, don't give me that shit on how you're appalled by someone who would start a post with "blow me, fuck you." Compared to the pile of shit this board is, that was probably the most intellectually stimulating post all day.
