no arms would be far worse. There are no sufficient prosthetics for hands...they're just too complicated. Call this masochistic, but I've thought for awhile that being born without legs wouldn't be so bad. No need to worry about shaving legs, and you could have perfect legs...nobody would know they're fake (visually anyway).

My name is also from a Tori song. Re the person who asked about Tori - she's not that famous really, CornFlake Girl is great and had some success, as did a dance mix of Professional Widow. She's more an album seller rather than a singles person.

I'd go with Little Earthquakes for a first buy, it's her first album. Has the girl with piano but also a backing band feel that the middle albums lack.

If you like Kate Bush, you'll like Tori. The lyrics are acerbic a la Jagged Little Pill era Alannis. But intelligent. Her original musical background is jazz piano and southern blues. And classical piano as well. Her strength is the songwriting and piano accompaniment - she has an interesting voice but it's not up there with big-time vocal stars. I'm a big fan.
