personal training on cruise ships

can someone give me some on whats involved as a PT on board a cruise ship, whats the pay like , how long during the year do you stay on board how much time do you get off,is it a good way to get travelling in?is it hard to get into?

i have this friend who went on a cruse, and it sucks. U do only spinning and aeorbic stuf and u get paid arround 2000$/month . But there is only one thing good, and that is that if u have the luck to work for regensy seven see or something.... u travel all arround the world and is very nice. The rest sucks, but if u want to have 6 months of party and girls go for it
It a company who select the PT , the name i think is stainer or steiner carere , do a google

A colleague of mine spent time as a Personal Trainer and a Health/Fitness lecturer on several cruise ships fairly recently. If you'd like to message me, I may be able to forward you his contact information. He'll be able to give you the best detail on the information you are looking for.

In health,
Boh

I've worked on a cruiseship as personal trainer for a year, it was amazing but very intense, very challanging as well..

It is great opportunity, but it is def. not for everybody. Also I had some ethics issues, that is my reason why i am not returning. I've written my entire experience down in a blog; cruiseship-personaltrainer.com

Unlike some others, I have finished my contract and can give you a unbiased and honest opinion of the company and the work. Because there is a lot of false information on different websites and from different people.
There is a lot of anger from people that did not finish the training or the contract, and also a lot of extremly positive information from people that see everything trough pink glasses or never ran into trouble, or just never had many problems with ethical issues.

Working as a PT on a cruise ship, seems like a fun shop, partying every night after work. Though I am sure it must be loads of hard work also but the fun of meeting so many different people from across the world more than makes up for it.
