do you guys IM like all the time, during work, at home, etc....

It's been one of those things that I found annoying, like people who chatter away on the phone all day "guess what I jsut saw?" "blah blah blah blah", so I neveer got into it, but tonight I IM'd with some chick for a couple of hours. This is the chick with the crotch rocket that I met this weekend, I finally called her up today, you know had to wait a few days to call, and after a while she was like "get on yahoo IM". I was like fuck! I hate those things but I did it, i guess my roomie uses it cause it was installed already. Now I'm feeling very contrived (sp) with myself because of it. So I am one of you chatter box people now, what do I do next, like she's the onle person I know in the IM world, where do I meet more?

I use it. I can type pretty fast, so it allows me to communicate with several friends and family members simultaneously. I do hate the poor grammar that my cousin uses when she IMs me. Stupid shit like "mah" for "my". I can understand the not capitalizing and proper punctuation, but shit if you're going to spell something wrong at least make it shorter.

lmao - I have never once used IM in my life and hopefully I never will. Every time I walk by a coworker's computer they are fucking IMing or that stupid little thing pops up every 2 seconds telling them someone is logged on. All technology has done (seemingly) is create more ways to feed the already gigantic epidemic of people being afraid to be alone.
