People who cheat

So what's up with guys (or girls) who cheat? Especially the ones who say they love their significant other, but just can't get enough of the booty to be faithful. And what about the people they are cheating with, if they know the other is in a relationship, what does this make them? What if they don't know the persons significant other, what if they don't even live near each other or know any of the same people?

I ask because my friend is telling me I should feel guilty and just not right because in less than a week, I am hookin up with this guy who lives in another state and has a girlfriend. I don't know her, I don't know anyone they know, I just think he's hot, we talk, and he sounds like we could have LOTS of fun. And that's all I am into right now anyway.
I never cheated on an ex until they did it (or even thought about doing it) to me. I think that if you're cheating you shouldn't be in a relationship (which is why after 8 1/2 years I'm not, I wanna have fun)

Men and women cheat because usually something is missing and they are too much a coward to leave.

Its all about choices, I have had plenty of opportunity to cheat and knew I would never get caught, always made the decision not too. I respected my wife and myself to much.

Am I a better man then those that cheat. YUP!
 
at least we have SOME people in this world with decent morals. If you dont have enough respect to be faithful to your SO, you dont deserve to be with any one. Get it through your head that its not right.

I know why people cheat, I have done it myself. Not so much because I wasn't satisfied, but because the guy cheated first, all he did was kiss an old friend, but that is still cheating to me. What about people who screw around with people in a relationship? I don't feel guilty at all, like I said it's all about fun for me, and I don't know his SO.

For me, it's about respect of other people and treating them like I would like to be treated. I'd end a relationship before I ever cheated on someone, but only if I couldn't address the reasons for wanting to cheat in the first place. If someone ever cheated on me then I'd leave them instantly. Respect is very important to me in a relationship.

I'd never be able to do what you are doing, fooling around with someone who is cheating on someone else. I don't need that kind of drama or idiocy in my life.
 
I normally wouldn't do it either, but he lives in another state, and only comes here once a year. I have wanted to do this (him...heh) for a while now....
 
Cheating is our natural instinct. We as humans were never meant to be monogamous, but through evolution and the social conditioning we endure, we have (some of us) developed the part of our brains that identifies with familiarity and security, which is why some of us remain faithful, while others who haven't developed this region as much still prefer to "spread their seed" if you will.
We are all capable of cheating or remaining faithful, but it takes a certain someone for us to want to settle down, plain and simple. If I could find her tomorrow, I'd be happy today.

Go ahed TG, do it! You're the one who has to live with it, not any of us. It's obvious from what you've said that you don't care, you just wanna F**K! Well, I'm a southern boy, you know those really dumb ones. What we call girls that just like to f**k a guy are (please don't be offended) whores, sluts, trash, etc... Because they didn't care if they were in a relationship, they just wanted to screw! Yes, I screwed some of them, so that probably doesn't make me any better than them. That's why I'm warning you, don't do it if you can't wear the Label..........There are a lot of ladies that know my past and that doesn't help my love life any at all. Just think about it........later...pins

That's true for men, but not women. Women in ancient times were trying to find the one provider to have there kids, men were searching for many fertile women to spread their seed as much as they could. NONE of that gives you an excuse to cheat on your s/o.

regardless of whatever is said cheating is wrong. if you want to be in a relationship you have to fight.. what i consider natural insticts. If the relationship is worth it, you can do it
 
don't want to be in a realtionship, or betetr I do, but the person I want to be with is doing his thing, having his fun and getting it out of his system. And so am I, I was in a relationship for most of the fun part of my teens - early 20's, now I just want to have fun, enjoy being single. I'm not one two "screw" tons of guys or anything, I jsut happen to see something I like, and if he doesn't care about his girlfriend, then well frankly, i don't either. If I knew her it would be a totally different story. She will find out about him playing around eventually, and it was be his problem, at least I can say I enjoyed it (hopefully...lol)
 
i have cheated on every guy i have ever been with and have never been caught once women are good at that we are more sneaky and diabolical then men. men almost always get caught

As much as I think there should be another way, some people are legitimately driven to cheat. I had an affair with a married woman a long time ago who didn't have a legitimate reason. She just had a thing for black guys and I was flavor of the month.....for 3-4 straight months. :)

Yep. My consequence is I just had an AMAZING 4 day weekend with this person, we did NOT have sex (though we did everything but) and now, now I can not get him outta my fucking head. I did not expect this AT ALL. :mad:
