In caucasian men, the average length of the erect penis, along the top, using a ruler, not a measure tape, is 6.2 inches.

its a normal spread (dont know the math word in english)

with u = 6.2 inch (average)
and o = 0.75 inch or so (standard deviation)

Actually the numbers you stated are one of many circulating. I have seen 5.2 inches, 5.5 inches, 6 inches, 6.2, etc, all from "reliable sources".

There are four things guys will always lie about: 1)how much they drink, 2)how often they get laid, 3)how good they are in bed, and 4)how long their penis is.

Most of these "reliable" studies we read about involve 100 guys at the most to check penis size. MTV recently did someting about this on their Urban Legends show. They used 4 guys. You really can't get an accurate demographic for study basis on 4-100 guys. To top it off, you know that the guys whom sign up for penis measurement studies are probably a little more well hung than those who do not. If I had a 2" penis, I sure as hell wouldn't sign up to let some shitbrick measure it.

I agree w/ Sundance.
