I am currently doing my PCT which is basically 4 weeks of clomid. I'm getting very depressed despite having no major issue in my life to cause this. Like anyone else, I get pissed off or moody from time to time, but this is the first instance that I couldn't be fucked even going into work. I go in and then do nothing at all. Add into that the sleeplessness that clomid causes and it's not easy. I know I just need to rough these 4 weeks and all will be okay, but has anyone else found Clomid to be a "mood killer"?

Persoanlly no, but I have read several posts on "moody-ness" caused by Clomid. Even some of the vets out there have posted this probelm. I think you will be fine once you ride it out.

Did the same thing to me last PCT, it got so bad I took a couple of maint. shots of test (which negates PCT) but I had to just to get thru the holidays and work and such, then it turned around pretty quickly, but a week or so was living hell as far as depression goes.

Why are you doing 4 weeks of clomid , just do 21 days at the most, you need to be re activated, not to be dependent.
I use 300 mg day 1 , 100 mg 10 days and 50 mg for 10 days. never got any sides at all.

The first time I used Clomid, I figured out pretty quickly that the 300mg day 1 is not a good idea....I had a freakin meltdown. Now, I start at 100 and keep it at 100 for the first week before dropping down to 50mg....and I find that only the first week sucks emotionally. Once I drop down to 50mg, I'm fine.

The psychological sides of clomid were very evident in one of my clients, the guy got super depressed within days of starting clomid and was even talking about suicide.

I will always use clomid. I must admit I was forced to watch the OC with some girl and almost broke down back in december. Really embarrassing.. don't think she noticed.

Ha-Ha!!!! Bet she was very impressed with your sensitive side!

Even just to talk to other BB's about this helps. Definitely a link between clomid and depression.
