2.) I didn't realize EF had a chat log seeing as it's a public forum
IV.)I have a large penis, just whip it out and she's all smiles.

i love how Barney's is claiming they had nothing to do with this kids apprehension. As if those beatwalking vinny's could tell the difference between a normal belt and a Ferragamo. Of course the clerks called it in. Kids gettin paid and good on him.

He later returned the belt to Barneys because he says he "didn't want to have nothing to do with it."

I was with the kid right up to this part of the story.

If he wants Barney's to pay he better show that someone from the store made the call to the police. Right now Barney's is saying that none of their employees had anything to do with it. It's really the police that violated his civil rights.

he returned it cause the belt now has a certain racial stink to it. WHy should that preclude him from suing the store that "quite obviously" called him in?

It's possible another customer called him in. Like I said, Barney's claims they had nothing to do with it and Trayon will have to prove a Barney's employee called.

shouldn't be terribly hard in court. Honestly Barneys is going to have to claim exactly what you said, that a customer called it in. The entire courtroom including the judge will go cough<bullshit>cough-cough

If only we had a way to log phone calls and know their point of origin.

Darn!

Shopping while black.....another crime.

yes very true, and given that the NY State Att is investigating not just Barneys but a couple other high end stores for racial profiling...something tells me they've already moved on past the "who called it in" question.

Then let's logic this out.

1) We all know phone logs are recorded, including Barney's.

2) Barney's claims no one was involved in any aspect of this incident other than the sale of the belt.

Now if Barney's is guilty, they pay the kid some money and the case just disappears. But if they aren't, they stick to their guns and move on.

going to go out on a limb and say if it was a barneys employee the chances of them having made the call on the store phone are pretty much nil.

Ummm...

1) Subpoena list of employee names.

2) Subpoena cell phone records of employees.

That's 30 days worth of work. This is a story about nothing.
