Parachute pants: Will anyone confess?

All these other posts in the threads on those weird pattern loose pants from the late 80s-early 90s... And the B-ball shoes, and all... Someone even admits to a fanny pack!

Let's see if any bro will come forward and say they wore parachute pants to a club in the early-mid 80s... I don't even see a picture anywhere on the Net, as I guess everybody wants to forget! I mean the baggy black silk shiny pants with 10 zipper pockets. Guys wore them for clubbing in the mid 80s, and maybe only for about 1 year. They were stupid-looking, and made you sweat immediately. I owned a pair at the time, but never had the courage to wear them... Not even once.

i had teh black ones with all the zippers right when Thriller hit the scene. They were the shit at the time.

no parachute pants, but I did have the pastel jackets/ pants, really low necked t-shirts and Capezio dancing shoes, skinny leather ties at times, etc.... lol
mid 80's, Dallas, X was legal and could be bought from most bartenders for 20.00 bucks. I was in my 20's then... I did rock a serious mid-back "Billy Joe Cyrus style" mullet too. :-)

What about UFO's? lol. The pants that had the reflector hanging out of the pocket. A lot of my guy friends had them.
Totally ridiculous.

oh hell no....i had friends who wore those but i never bought into that. Same with the really BIG pant leg jeans like Jinco (sp?) and karl kanai (sp?)

I had a pair of Diesel pants I bought when i was 15 or so that were like a combination of workout pants and MC hammer genie pants, but they actually looked pretty cool.

I had a whole closet of Z Cavaricci clothes. They sold suits, pants, and shirts. The pants were really high waisted, my suit was a neutral cotton color, very cool at the time...

check out the link, mine were cooler than these but the writer hit the nail on the head with the description... LOL

I never had the parachute, but rocked some sweet ass camo pants with all the cargo pockets. I think I was in 4th grade.
