Here's some notes from yesterday's show in Columbus, OH.

ATREYU - they were ok. not sure if I like them or not.

MAGNA-FI - Never heard of them. Nothing spectacular about these guys.

DARKEST HOUR - mix could have been better. not to bad though.

THROWDOWN - I was very impressed with their set. I had never heard of them before. I will be picking up their newest one.

GOD FORBID - loved their set. sounded great!

OTEP - chic can rock, but she rambles alot between songs.

UNEARTH - wonder what happened to them. I believe they were scheduled to open the show but they never played. :(

LACUNA COIL - Opened the day. I missed all but the last two songs. They sounded very good and the crowd seemed to enjoy them. I did like what little I heard.

DEVILDRIVER - I did not see them. Was off to see the rest of the sights.

BLEEDING THROUGH - I did not see them. Was off to see the rest of the sights

LAMB OF GOD - Very tight. These guys are awsome. New disc is out end of next month.

HATEBREED - They played a very good set. Crowd was really with these guys.

SLIPKNOT - I don't care for their music, but they do put on a great stage show. The second stage area was packed for these guys.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY - set was way to short for my tastes. 4-5 songs not long enough

SUPERJOINT RITUAL - they were ok. a band that better suited for the club.

DIMMU BORGIR - I really don't know why they were on the main stage. They were ok but I like them better on disc.

SLAYER - what can I say they were Slayer. Kerry opened their set wearing that old spiked forearm thing.

JUDAS PRIEST - I can die a happy metal head now. Finally saw Priest live!!! They were on top of their game. New disc comes out end of the year/early next. Rob sounded like metal god that he is and the entire band sounded great. The crowd went ape shit.

BLACK SABBATH - First time seeing Ozzy in any form live. I'm not a huge Sabbath fan but they sounded great.
