For bulking is it best to have meals at certain times or is it just overall consumption through the day?
Sometimes I’m not hungry ( but can and will eat ) so I sometimes make up what ever I couldn’t eat during the rest of the day

ive seen conflicting studies and ideas on this. ill post the references if i can find them, but several purport u can fast all day and re-feed ALL your daily cal requirements in a 2-4 hour window with no muscle loss. i prefer eating every 2 hours. even waking up to eat, but its probably highly individualistic.

another study found :
8 hour feeding window, men lost more weight than same calories over longer period -with resistance training
i think this was a weight loss diet not bulk so i don’t think its relevant here.

take note there is a tone of varying research and opinions about important feeding tines and macros for maximum anabolic or muscle synthesis. including spiking insulin post workout to help shuttle nutrients into muscles. i could site so many i think you maybe should read a bit n just try.
i personally do whey n oats an hour b4 workout, bcaa’s during, and whey and dextrose right after. then 20g mote protein an hour later. just what i like.

The most important thing is your daily calorie intake at the end of each day. Worrying about meal timing is like 5%.

Listen to your body man. Force feeding yourself is never a good idea. It puts a lot of strain on your digestive system and it's a sure way to get fat.

ask masonicbodybuilder. i think he eats like only twice a day

You are correct my friend. I do intermittent fasting and eat my first meal after training around 3pm. I have another meal (my dinner) around 6-7pm and that is usually it. If I am hungry after that I will allow myself to have a snack but usually I don't get hungry.

I think it is most important to finish the day with the total you want. Timing can make a slight difference but in the long run it will be about calories in vs calories out.
