Re: Outrage Over Texas College MLK Day Party (featuring 40's, fried chicken, etc) PIC
Honestly...I don't think secondary education was necesary in my field at all...my work experience in my field was all that was needed....along with solid math skills, the ability to use spell check and to understand some fairly basic concepts......other than haveing some really great times in college....it was a total waste of time in my career path.....I know alot of people with much more education who haven't done as well finacialy as I have......I am a firm believer that hard work & dedication are the keys to success more so than education......a lack of work ethic seems to be most underachievers downfall.....not lack of education......

Brokerage is tough.....you really have to have a special insight into that which you're trying to move. Not saying it's impossible.....but people with a high school education probably would not know the basic fundamentals of operating a business like keeping books.......someone would have to teach them.
