OT: Question about resume's

Is it okay to use 2 pages for a resume, or does it strictly have to be limited to 1 page. Im only a college student so no credentials or real experience, but im up for an sweet internship with at a really impressive place. They need someone immediately so I dont feel too much pressure to make it "perfect" cuz they might hire me anyway, but how many pages are acceptable?

get it on one page... you can alter spacing and what not to your hearts content... but if it comes down to it, just leave the relevant info.

1 page, no smaller than 10pt font, get to the point quickly for all entry's.

I have shit-canned resumes that didn't follow the above.

its a whole lot of 3-6 month jobs that are takin up all the goddam space........should i just cut out the old shit?

how did you get to two pages with just getting out of college? most of info on there is probably bs anyway.

- List the last three jobs you had. (That includes your current job.)
- List only what is applicable to your degree/job you are applying for.
- If it's a bunch of burger flipping jobs, list the last three.
- Avoid showing long gaps of time without working.


Along with "skill applicable" job history, employers will also look to see if you have consistantly worked. (No long gaps without a job can be perceived as a strong work ethic.)

These are just some of the things I look for when reviewing resumes.

One page and don't make it too wordy. Stress your skills and how those skills lead to accomplishments at work.
