Ordered all my WSB stuff last night

Last night I ordered a bunch of stuff from elitefts - the sled pack (includes a bunch of harnesses and straps), the band pack (includes 2 of each band), and the chain setup with 3 sets of 5/8" chain. Plus I printed a crapload of articles on WSB training and I'm reading through all of them now. I also stopped at the local Fitness 2000 store this afternoon and bought a bunch more weight plates in anticipation of some serious strength gains :D. I am so psyched to get on this routine.

Good luck, alot of people don't have access to that equipment. Train hard and train smarter.

PLEASE keep us updated on ALL of your workouts!!!

I am really interested to see what you do first and what kind of gains you see.

Will do. I'm going to Home Depot tommorrow to get some wood to build a box for box squatting.

Also, I probably won't start the WSB routine for another two weeks. I am so close to benching 405 (I can do a triple with 375) that I want to knock that out before I start a new routine.

Good luck Rich, and definitely keep all of us updated. Im really considering WSB in the near future, and it would be good to hear some information and recommendations from someone who is just starting the program.

Awesome, Rich. A suggestion on the box....If you build 3 short boxes then you can do high, parallel, and low box squats, and aren't restricted to one depth.

Also, mats seem to be cheaper at Farm stores (Feldman's and the like).

Don't forget wood for board presses! :)

Yep...2x4's and 3/4" plywood. I think I could build those in my sleep now.

One trick about the mats: generally, I think they come in 4' x 6' x 3/4". For your boxes, you've got to cut that in six parts. Get yourself a jigsaw, and ask at the hardware store for a blade that will cut dense rubber. Also, anchor the mat well close to the cut so it's not working against you.
