Oral-only cycles for a newbie

hey guys,

Another newbie here (I know, loads of us).

I really need your help and advice because I've hit a wall in my training.

I've spent a few days researching steroids after a friend told me "they're not as bad as the media make out". I'm happy to know he was right, from what I've read.

But, he also told me I could run some short oral-only cycles to start with.

Looking online, I can't find any cycles that don't include injections. I simply cannot bring myself to inject at all, really I can't.

So, please can someone tell me if oral-only cycles really are A) unnecessarily harmful for you vs injections and B) If they are pointlessly ineffective for long/short term use?

To give a bit of info about me, I'm 26, been training on and off for about 10 years, of average height and build (not in body builder scales, just a normal, average bloke - 87kg). This year I've really worked very hard, lost 14kg of fat, work out 4-5 times a week... but just cannot get much more muscle mass (no matter how many books and websites I read, workout regimes I try, etc).

If oral-only cycles aren't as bad as some forum posters make out on the net, what would you advise to start with? I want something that has minimum impact on my health/liver and I'm not looking for giant increases... just a boost.

First of all dont put shit in your body after "a few days of research",this is your body and life long health your dealing with and you olny get one.Secondly,yes orals have a much higher toxicity level than imjects because of the filter and delivery process(research it!)If you want to do a good mild beginners cycle w orals get you some dbol and do 30 mg a take for 6-8 weeks with proper diet and work you can see 10-15 lbs of gain witch ull retain 60% of.My advise is nut up and inject(after propper research)trust me if u dont have the stomach to do it yourself your girl would love nothing more than to jam a needle in your ass.
 
I used to be terrified of needles my first 2 cycles (dbol only and oral tren) we're a waste because I didn't know about pct check out www.spotinjections.com have a buddy do it your first time and you'll be good to go it really only feels like a pinch...

Or even some tbol but i agree with the above post. Also make sure ur diet is in check and ur getting all the necessary protein carbs fat and ur not still on that "cutting" diet. post up ur diet maybe we could help you out more

I'm not scared of needles, I have a real phobia. I pass out like a little girl (literally, I'm not exagerating). Last time the doc put a needle in my arm I woke up in a friend's arms who caught me as I blacked out lol. I felt like a right tool. The missus is no better either. I have some friends who are nurses and would do it, but I don't want to tell people I'm getting into this as I'll have to explain myself to everyone then.

I have done research this week and know about the pills affecting the liver, which is why I don't wanna take them. Though I read about taking supplements to help with the side effects of taking pills (Liv-50 was it called?).

I am kinda still in a fat-burning diet at the moment. I've had a hernia in my back so had to stop working out for a long time. I'm working hard to get all the fat off now. My BF% is about average for a normal guy, but I should get it lower before I take any roids.

I'm still in the research stage, weeks (if not months) away from beginning any program/cycle. I'm going to use the time wisely and hopefully tap into the wealth of knowledge here from you guys.

I also want to avoid any pills that will cause hair loss.

Wait till you get so much scar tissue build up you have to jab repeatedly hahaha but yeah read up on pct a lil hcgenerate is the bomb and you should be gtg
 
Liv-52. And you could also take stuff like propecia/finpecia which will prevent hairloss if you go read a thread here its called lets talk baldness and some people get sides from it luckily i dont. But yeah when you ready post up ur proposed cycle and people can critique it and help you out. There is a ton of knowledge here just read everything.. Cheers
 
Forgot to add more info about my diet, which might be why I'm not gaining any muscle. I just feel like I'm trying to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time and it's not working.

I don't have a particular diet, I just mix it up a bit. I basically live on fish, fruit, salads and cereals. Always take vitemins & minerals, protein and creatine supplements (n.o. xplode & cell mass).

Do the injections have to be in the muscle you want it to work in? Or would an injection in your arse work for your whole body? How deep does the injection have to go? The vids/pics I've seen look like an inch or longer!!
 
Yes you cant cut and bulk at the same time its either cut or bulk. And the injection in ur ass would be for the whole body and yes an inch is right.. And the diet you need to be eating meals 2-3 hours apart and make sure you know what ur goal is. cut or bulk, not both

you need to eat more to grow... i know you may want to burn fat, but this can still be accomplished by eating more, just clean foods...
cereal is the only carb you listed... you need more carbs to grow muscle... yams and brown rice should be everyday eats... and fish isnt the best at building muscle, chicken and even better- red meat is much better...
you need to plan out your meals in advance and keep track of what you are eating, that way you know what works and what dosnt... when to eat more when to eat less etc...

The only oral only I will ever suggest is ANAVAR.
 
Thanks for the non-sarcastic replies guys. I've seen lots of pumped-up arogant jerks taking the piss out of people genuinely asking for help on other sites. This site seems really decent and I appreciate the kind replies.

Damn, I need to cut and bulk lol. Ok here's my average food for the day (note: I have high BP and cholesterol already so eat little red meat or pork etc. Family problem with thyroid)...
-Breakfast: High fibre cereal mixed with a few coco pops for flavour (tree-bark flavour isn't my favourite lol)
-Lunch: Couple of pieces of fruit bread, buttered.
-Dinner: Large chicken salad meal (with pasta) or a salmon, potatoes & veg meal
-Supper: More high fibre cereal
-Snacks: Always a tin of tuna, 3 mandarines, 1 apple and 1 banana, couple of cups of tea and a tin of sliced peaches
-Supplements: OxyElite Pro pill for burning fat (only started them this week), protein shakes, N.O.Xplode before a workout and CellMass after a workout (and before bed).

Workout Regime recently has been...
Mon / Wed / Fri / Sat: Split routine workout, all weight training in my gym at home. A friend comes round and we work out together
Tues / Thurs / Fri: 1 hour on the cross trainer in front of the TV.
Sun: Nothing, recovering from a saturday night out.

My stats
Age: 26 (well, will be next week)
Height: 6'2" (182cm?)
Weight: 88kg (was 102 at the begining of the year, mostly fat lol. I lost 14kg in 3-4 months)
Job: Office work unfortunately. Work in IT as an engineer for a cardiology informatics system.

I'm no serious athlete (haha very far from it), but I do spend a lot of hours each week working out and am getting sick of not seeing the results I want. I have friends who are in better condition and they don't do any training at all. Really pees me off.

You should try some dry injections first. Maybe some Sub Q injections with a 30 gauge. Then a 23 gauge in the quad. Then a 23 gauge in the glute. I bet everyone here was scared/nervous there first injection. It gets easier. I doubt your training that hard if you are scared of a little pinch from a injection. I would advise you wait. Oral only cycle reminds me of someone who eats chewable vitamins instead of pills because pills are "hard to swallow'. Just Silly
 
At a quick glance of ur diet you need more meals in there like ALIN said more food = more muscles. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours like i said earlier chicken is great and so many vairations can be done with it. Chicken brown rice, whole grain pasta, sweet potato and ur veggies brocolli carrots etc. Evry 2 hours eat as much as you can and then eat some more, eat big to get big. Good luck
 
no, you're missing the point. I'm not scared! I know it doesn't hurt. I have regular blood test for my cholesterol but I go faint and pass out sometimes (not recently actually). It's a genuine phobia, my blood pressure sky rockets when I see a needle in the same room - doesn't even have to be near me. Then when I get away from the needles my BP drops too fast and I black out. Of course it doesn't hurt lol. Doesn't have to touch me. I can't hold pins without freaking out haha.

I know it sounds really stupid, but I'm not exagerating. I'm no soft arse, I've done plenty of matial arts. I can see arms cut open, legs chopped off... anything gorey, just dont let me see needles.

Juiced, how can I eat more meals and not get a bigger belly though? I thought that basically if I eat more carbs then my body will use the carbs before the stored body fat. I need of my body fat to get burnt up. Also, don't you store additional fat from your diet if you have excess carbs as your body uses carbs first?

What do you guys think about these OxyElite Pro pills? good ratings online but I'm 50/50 about these kinda things.
 
why don't you just lay down and have your bro that gave you the advice pin you without you looking. atleast for the first couple times. if you really want to do an oral only cycle i'd recommend checking out some of the designer on mrsupps.com or orbitnutrition.com beastdrol is awesome. and take some n2guard with it for your liver from needtobuildmuscle.net. as far as hair loss, if you're not already prone to it or it isn't in your genetics it shouldn't affect you.
 
he doesn't work out with me and he doesn't inject either. Just uses pills from what I know. Gonna have a better discussion with him next time I see him (he lives a long way away).

Maybe i just need some serious work on my diet. I'm quite lazy though and would prefer to make a load of something that I can eat every 3 hours (rather than making something every 3 hours). Especially for when in work. Any good recipe suggestions for quick, high-carb meal/snacks throughout the say?
 
Thanks Ozzie. Protein with every meal then? Even like at breakfast with a bowl of cereal? I think I need some serious meal suggestions, sounds like I'm doing it all wrong. If I'm gonna use any roid cycles then I've gotta get everything else in order first.

What do you guys eat at nigjt, after training? I always have my meals before I train and then after training I only have tuna, protein shakes and some fibre cereal before bed. Should I be eating more carbs BEFORE BED in order to help my muscles rebuild as I'm sleeping then?

Can you point me in the direction of some good weekly meal programmes?

I don't even mind the needle breaking the skin thats the easiest part. Its when you can feel that fucker deep in the muscle tissue, but you still have another .5 inch to go and then you poke a nerve SSSSHHIITT muscles twitch needle doesn't break thank jesus, then you aspirate only to find your in a vein and you gotta back out and do it all again.

no really its not that bad just do it don't balk and stare at it for 5 minutes or you'll get the jitters and it will never happen. Reach back and hammer fist the bastard into your quad.
 
after meals have a high carb meal. for some easy recipes i eat natural oats with whole milk like cereal, its easier that way and you can eat more without getting full. you can also cook a lot of rice or other noodles at the same time. or just cook a shit ton of chicken breast at the same time, and keep in the fridge for later, its not too complicated
 
My first cycle was a winny only cycle. I ran 50mg for 7 weeks. It was awesome and I kept all of my gains.

I do recommend an oral cycle if you want to go for it. Make sure you have your PCT lined up and diet and training in check.

On another note, I was afraid of needles too. I used to pass out. What you need to do is to stick yourself just to practice. In the military I had to give myself an IV, and I had to do it quite a few times. Once you do it, it becomes easier. I can inject now without even thinking about it.

Also, some orals are very toxic on the liver so if you plan on doing more cycles in the future you will have to make the jump to injections. Good luck.
 
I think with a bit of practice I could get over it like you, but I'd have to have a nurse with me to show me what to do properly (rather than just doing it myself).... and I couldn't go anywhere near a vein!! Blurgh, just thinking about it makes me wanna throw up.

How can you get your liver tested without getting your doc suspicious? I can't just want into my docs office and say "yea I wanna take steroids, can you please test me blood for me?". I doubt my insurance company would be happy either. BTW I live in Holland so I may have to find some locals and ask what they do.

For the next month I'm gonna work on a high carb+protein post-workout meal. Luckily I know some chefs :-D
 
Welcome to EF bro, I think you have been given some great advice here... grab some N2GUARD if you are running orals.
Hit the diet section and put a proper meal plan together ,also do plenty of research on PCT, different side effects - cause+effect, AI's ,hcg ,SERMS BEFORE you go popping pills or injecting anything.

dbol 25 mgs a day for a month with .5 mg a-dex Mon, Wed, Fri. throughout (saw this in another post). Mix in some liv-52 to protect the liver.
PCT: 20 mgs Nolvadex for 3 weeks

It's this kind of info I can't find anywhere online. A good, basic, starter oral-only cycle including PCT. Anyone have a link or more info to share?

Thanks radar. Just spent 1 hour in the supermarket finding new foods. My first snack/lunch was a very large tortilla wrap filled with half a chicken breast, tub of brown rice, mixed salad, held together with a tiny bit of 0% mayo. Tasted stunning. Washed it down with a protein shake (i hate the shakes, so disgusting).
I've already had a banana, kellogs bran flakes, apple and 3 mandarins.... and this is before I've done any exercise today. It's only lunch and im still in the office.
Tonight - 1 hour on the cross trainer, 2 hours on the weights at home and a large chicken salad dinner with pasta etc. All washed down with more protein shakes.
That's gotta be enough!!! :-)

From what I can see you are looking at aas too early... Really, most people dont wait until they hit their natural limit so who cares about that part..
But you are tall, 6'2" i think 182cm is around 6'0"... and you weigh 88kg and mentioned wanting to lose a little more weight?
Maybe I'm wrong but the reccomended weight for the average joe male is around the 75-80kg mark(from what I remember).. For a taller guy that allows for more weight.

So with my theoretical maths in my head based on what you have said I think it's way too early to be worrying about AAS. more about correct training, not as much cardio, more protein then muscle should grow.
 
not as much cardio? I thought that was also important for muscle growth to keep your cardio system in shape. Get the blood delivered to muscles well etc.
 
yes cardio is important but 20 mins 3 times a week not an hour and then 2 hours weight traning the way i see it ur burning ur self out man. Reduce the cardio, increase the calories, and hammer those weights im sure results will come ur way.

Thats a good start but I have run dbol without adex with zero sides at 30mgs/day a couple times. It can interfere with gains unecesarilly but you should definitely keep it on hand if sides show up.
