Opinions Needed

I am impressed with the knowledge base that I see here on this board so I feel comfortable asking you guys for your opinions.

I am 55 years old, 240#, 11% bf. I am a competitive bodybuilder. Train VERY hard and heavy. I had triple bypass surgery in 2000, take BP meds, and cholesterol meds.

I know that my test has to be on the lower end of normal or below. I am considering TRT but my insurance company only pays for gel and I don't like that idea.

From your experience, what do you guys suggest??

USA pharm grade test is less the $100 for 10ml,,,ask your doc for inject script and pay for it out of pocket.

I would talk to a doctor that is ok with giving you good advice about aas. I know your insurance company will not cover it but he can advice you and you can get what you need some where else. I do not feel comfortable Giving you any aas advice after something like that. There is prob some one on this board that has first hand experience with this but I don't.

That is one of the problems. I haven't found a doctor around here that knows his ass from a hole in the ground about aas. That is why I turned to you guys here.

Agreed. It's the same drug. Explain that to him (in a nice way :) ) You can also contact the insurence company and make an argument. You can always alternate -- one month gel, one month inj. But how much money will you be saving? A bottle of cyp cost $85 without insurence, $25 with. I know it sucks but it's worth it.

Guys, I am not concerned with the cost. I am asking for your opinions on what to take and how much of it to take. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.

Your script will be for enanthate or cypionate (same thing), most likely 100 mgs a week, which is the standard.

You should also look into supps that will keep natural T high and make the most of the TRT -- UNLEASHED, POST CYCLE, Dermacrine, MyogenX -- can all help.

Also, I'd recommened 1/4 mg of arrimidex twice a week and 1500 i.u's of HC G, every other month but it's doubtful you'll be able to get a script for that so you may need to hunt it down.

Thanks Nelson - This is the kind of information I am after. Any other opinions?

I have no idea about HRT, being that I'm too young, but I just wanted to say that your stats are very impressive especially for your age.

^^ maybe...i would take baby steps tho since hes all natural and has heart issues dont want to jump into it too fast ya know...try the test at a low dose and moniter yourself regulary as far as BP goes and try to see what doses you can handle without the BP getting high..then possibly add something else if desired
