one side weaker than the other side while doing dumbell presses?

Ive got this problem that my left side is weaker than my right side while doing dumbell bench. I had surgery on my left shoulder but that was back in November and I am past the point where i should be back to full strength, so i dont know if its the surgery part. Anyone else have this problem in general and what can I do about it?
 
probably best asked on the training board they have some good people who may have references to training articles by west side etc.
 
My left side is MUCH weaker than my right, and it shows when doing dumbells. To help it catch up, I always do one more set on my left side than I do on my right. I hope it will eventually gain strength and be as strong as my right side.
