I haven't tried charles poliquin's one day arm cure because it just seemed like way too much. But I did something similiar a few weeks back which was a sort of high volume experiment which I could do in the privacy of my own home with dumbells. What I did was 20 sets of curls, 20 sets of kickbacks and 20 sets of forearm curls, with weights I could do about 12 reps. These were all done within a period of about 60 - 90 minutes, supersetting the 3 exercises then having a little rest and then going again. Each set was taken to total failure, including partial reps, etc...I did it really just as an experiment, but the results suprised me considering I didn't really get that sore the next day. My arms increased by a little over 1/2 inch over the course of the next week so I suppose it worked alright.
