Good to meet you Lee. I would be more than happy to have you over to the Dungeon. We might make the trip to OKC sometime, just a jog down the turnpike. Or what might make the most sense is to train at bigokie's in Stillwater, halfway point for me and you, and Screwball can just drive his scrawny ass on over.
great to hear about another westside trainer. I am sorry, I cannot place you, though. What bodyweight, attempts, flight, etc. . . were you? I might have a better idea of who you were with that info.
We are always happy to find new okies. And always happy to find powerlifters. Really great to hear about one who is both.
And thanks for the encouragement regarding Jason and Kim. I am hoping to be at their level next year. If I keep progressing at the same rate, I should be right there before too long. It is funny but you are the first person besides myself, who has ever thought out loud that I could ever be in the same league with Kim and Jason.
They are both in their mid to late 30's and I am 27, so I have some time to catch them, but I really want to post a 600 plus before I turn 29. Then I will have some time to work on the 20 or 30 lbs I will need at that point to catch them.
Drop me a line sometime at
[email protected] and we can exchange numbers and try to get together sometime. My son got sick from the heat. I can relate to the distress your wife was in. Sorry I came off like a weiney at the meet, but the heat kicked my ass. Sweaty denim shirts are not the best thing to bench in.
