Okay, my first thread ever about celebs

Disclaimer: As most of you know, I detest people who care about / think of celebrities and I truly believe that People Magazine will be the downfall of humanity.

That being said, I was on a cross-country flight and was sitting next to a nice young lady. She was reading Us Weekly, so I used that to start a convo with her. There was a picture of Jim Carrey holding hands with some really sexy blonde woman. She read the caption to me and turns out it's Jenny McCarthy!

That's just plain ol fashioned awesome. Jim Carrey has the sex appeal of a hotel hallway rug yet he's with one of the hottest AND most wanted women in the world. I get a lot of pleasure from seeing witty, humorous, intelligent not-so-good-looking guys get hot women.

It leaves hope for ugly dudes like sublimezm .

I would imagine it may be either really entertaining being in the room with those two or really annoying. They both obviously thrive on attention and being the consummate (sp?) entertainer, which could get ugly if and when they fight for the room. There's only so much attention that can go around at any given time...

You've left out one important point: Jim Carrey is a rich celebrity himself, and it was almost certainly a publicity ploy. (No offense, Jim. You're movies are usually pretty watchable). If Jenny and Jim ever boned it would be either the most annoying porno or the most fucked up one you ever saw.
