So I have this hot neighbor. Probably a 9. 115 lbs., curly hair, tight ass body. Blue eyes. Nice Irish girl. Fantastic piece.

She lives behind me. We hung out a few times last summer. She had a boyfriend. He was a douchebag. Well about 4 months ago she broke up with him.

I talked to her once or twice between then and now, flirty shit like.

She walks by my place last night as I was assembling my brand new Graphite flake, ball-bearing Craftsman brand 3 piece toolchest.

We hang out in the garage having a GREAT time she was fucking super-flirtatious. Claiming how I never asked her out, blah blah blah, so I said how bout this is a date. (Basically her watching me work on stuff in the garage.) She was all about it, then she walks back over to her place to pick up some $$$ because we ordered a pizza when, bam... Some kid she went out with a few times shows up at her house - a kid that I know - also douchebag - and she dips out and goes home.

yeah, she's a flake and sounds incredibly immature, not worth it. but if you still want to deal with her, call her out on her behavior first of all. do it calmly and make it clear you don't tolerate that shit. she's a pretty girl so she gets her ass kissed all the time....she can flake out on people and people won't say anything or they get really upset and act all emotional, which makes her validate her own flakeyness.

just like the other thread you made about the AE chick, you don't seem to have a concept of how women test you. when she asked you why you guys never went out she was testing you. to declare you two guys chillin and then consider it a date is completely unnatural and you're not letting things progress slowly and making her work for you. notice how things quickly change based on one response from their tests? yes...notice the things women say sometimes and how and you'll understand why they test people, especially pretty ones. it's their way to separate the strong from the weak in their minds

you completely gave into her and she ditched you for the next guy, who's probably a complete asshole but doesn't tolerate her bullshit

That's sort of thoughtless. She clearly made plans with you, and then ditched when another (better, in her mind anyway) option came along. I hate people who flake.

As for what you should do...damned if I know. I don't know the girl and hesitate to jusge her character entirely on one story. You say she's cool, so she must have something going for her. You're gonna know whether or not to bother better than we will but I would say give it one more chance on the account that this is a fluke and pay close attention for any more red flag selfish behavior. If you see more signs that this sort of mindset is a pattern rather than a fluke, drop her.

Don't be a Steve. It's not worth being upset about, you haven't even gone on a date. You're basing her desirability mostly on appearance, get to know her as a friend before you date her, she'll show you the crazy and you won't have to date her for a couple of months before she starts showing her true colors. The craziest chicks in the world can hide their crazy for a couple months during the dating process, their friends get to see the crazy.

You would have had to be in my shoes to understand this one. It wasn't some weird unnatural thing, the whole "this counts as a date" thing was me busting on her because it was in my garage.

And believe me maing, I'm always the stong one rather than the weak one. If I sense bullshit I'll drop her faster than an Acme rocket pointed to the ground.

Here's how it played out.

I was disgustingly dirty in grease and oil. (For the s)

I was putting together tool cabinets and working on my motorcycle.

She walks by, we chill, she goes to her place grabs a bottle of wine all the while watching me work, us talking, her handing me tools and getting me beers. She was very touchy feely. I was basically busting on her all night. I was in 100% control the entire night until she got a surprise visit by that douchebag.
