Has anyone seen this commercial on TV that says "If you've bought drugs before, you may be supporting a terrorist"? It seems the gov't is trying to make us feel guilty about drug purchases by suggesting that the money somehow ends up in the hands of terrorists. How about this--"If you buy FUCKING GASOLINE, you may be supporting a terrorist"??? I bet I won't see that one on TV anytime soon, probably because the oil tycoons that own the gov't and media don't want that to speed the development of alternatives to fossil fuels. You want to end the problems in the middle east, STOP BUYING GAS, not DRUGS!!!

(and the attacks) Yes we have our problems but are you going to sit there and tell me your country has a better and superior political process? You have pointed out some valid points, but not all americans are as you decribed gainerxxl. Do you believe this because of media proaganda in your own country? Where do you find less violence and racism, in Germany, the rest of europe, perhaps the mideast?
As for freedom, we do not have complete freedom, but we may vote people in to change stupid laws, your officials has just voted to make it illegal to have sex while they are in the armed forces, WTF is up with that. I realize that you may have had a neo-nazi upbringing and therfore hate americians, hey each to their own. As a country we have many problems and issues to resolve, but I stand firmly with Quadsweep on the fact that many other countries envy and hate us because we have a better life in the USA. Were in a bit of bind now because some heathen assholes attacked and killed many innocents in New York and the nation's captial, in the name of Allah. I was very patriotic..so much to the point that I joined the Marines so I could serve my country and be proud about doing it... Yet more and more I lose faith...partly in the vast majority of the people...and primarily in the way our government runs things.
Im sad to say that Islamic terrorism doesnt stem from their envy, it stems from their hate of this country meddeling in their buissness and trying to manipulate their will on this world. Did it not piss you off when your parents tried to run your life for you...but the difference is your parents had a right to do it.

This government has become a symbol of oppressive hypocracy: You dont belive me?.... Look at various politicians. Dick Cheney and Bush Jr....both former CEO's of major companies. Both ran them as they see fit( and probablly did their fair share of monetary allocation). But now they are front running the investigation into several large corporations. Another fine example is Jeb Bush... He is one of the biggest proponents driving the push for harcher drug laws. Yet when his daughter is busted with crack-cocaine, he claims it is striclty a family and personal matter and she didnt get punished by the law.


We claim they we are a country built on the premises of freedom. yet we allow the government to use propagandic manipulation to force us to relequish our freedoms for "safety" ( think war on drugs...and war on terrorism)

We claim to be te best country.....to only thing i see us being the best at is consuming food. Almost 60% of Americans are overweight, yet they bitch about how the media portrays the ideal person as being skinny and trim. Do Americans actually belive that this gluttonous lfestyle is healthy? Fuck ideal Im just trying to stay healthy. Granted some people do have legitimate health problems that forces them into obesity or weight control problems....this this is more the exception than the rule.

Granted their are more oppresive counties to live in....but they know they are oppresive and quite frankly are damn proud that they are. We are the only county that claims freedom when their really isnt such a thing. And if you think being a civillian is this country is bad....you should try being in the military.

I do not agree with why we are about to go to war...and mark my works form the military stand point...we ARE going to war.... with or without the approval of the UN and congress. And that is why I have begun the procces of administrative separation. I dont want to fight for a country so hypocritical.

nekrawulf I do not have much faith in Bush-Cheney or is it Cheney-Bush? I do however have faith in the americian people overweight or not. I firmly believe that we will prevail, also I'm not fond of the prospect of blindly charging into Iraq, at the present time. If we were going to invade Iraq why in the fuck didn't Bush keep his mouth shut about it.
