OK, any recommendations on computer speakers?

Boston. I have these tiny ass Boston speakers that I got with my computer, back in 1998. They still sound amazing. Turn it up, and it sounds like a stereo system.

Basically in the $50-100 category... just for my apt next year.

Considering:

1) JBL Creature speakers (partially because they look really cool)
2) Altec lansing 3 speaker set (ATP 3)

Any opinions?
