Ok now this really sucks. thats the phone call i got today from my ex. Turns out she has HPV and the only person she has ever done anything sexual with was me. So, she told me to go get myself checked out. What the fuck do i do?

i have only slept with one other girl in my life and it was only once. Im not sure if i could have got it from her. What about blood transfusions? could i have gotten it then?

turns out 75% of sexually active men and women have HPV. i really just wanna kill myself now.....

i was wondering if cell dysplasia could be caused by somehting else. thats what my ex has, cell dysplasia on her cervix. her doc said it was HPV. but she talked ot anohter person that said that he has seen too many cases where the wife has it and the husband doesnt which suggests that it could be caused by something else.

It could be what you said....also, just to mention HPV is caught from skin to skin contact....it is possible to wear a condom and still contact HPV if the uncovered parts of your skin come into contact with and affected area of your partner's body.

but none of us have visible signs (like warts). if it is hpv then it is the strain that doesnt cause genital warts.

I just found out some interesting info on HPV. Turns out HPV is a virus that causes warts, not just genital warts. if you have warts anywhere on your body (like your finger) you have HPV. I guess it isnt really anything to worry about after all. the make it sound scary, but its just a stupid virus that causes warts

I would not call it a stupid little virus. When the warts start forming they do so in clumps. Then you have to go to the dermatoligist and he will give a cream and then freeze your cock with -200 degree liquid nitrogen. I have pretty high threshold of pain and when he goes heavy on them I am near crying. Then your shit will shed and peel off as they die, you will be sore and red most of the time. I have only had 5 partners in my life and they were all my girlfriends, but the last one was cheating on me for a few months and I did not know and that cheating whore gave it to me. At first I was just really sore and red so I went to the doctors and they thought it was herpes they did the whole battery of tests and I left with a clean bill of health and it was diagnosed as a yeast infection. This went on for a few weeks and never went away. In the meantime I met my soon to be wife on saturday. A month after we started sleeping together I started to get warts. I went to the docs bitching for the fact my wife was a virgin and I gave it to her and she had to go to the gyno and get them burned of the side of vaginal walls. I felt horrible. The doctor said the tests they have out are not very accurite and hpv is generally diagnosed only when warts are visible. Keep an eye on it and at first sign go to a dermatoligist if you wait even a few days the can multiply extremely fast and are much harder to treat. I have been getting treated for 8 months now and still have yet to get rid of them. I hope you do not get any. I you have any other questions feel free to ask.

From what I remember by working at a STD Clinic in college cell dysplasia is bad news b'cuz there's correlation with cervical, uterine, and /or ovarian cancer. Chances are if you used a condom every time you may not have HPV...and I'm guessing she was probably told by her dr. to contact every sexual partner she has had, kwim? In other words, she may have contracted it after you...with another person.

Just get checked!!
