** Official FIFA World Cup 2006 thread **

Didn't see the Spain - France game, but seeing that the ball control went to Spain 61 - 39%, then I'm really surprised France was able to win it 3-1.

Ball control is one thing, being ablo to finish is another
and at that point of the competition experience pays off

Your pronostic for tomorrow?

Mine:
Germany will beat Argentina
Italy will beat Ukraine

England will beat Portugal by 1, (golden goal). Brazil will beat France by 1 (regular time).
Then Germany will beat Italy by 2, Brazil over England by 2
Brazil over Germany 2-1 for the final

Forza azzurra!!!!!!!!

You should be ashamed of yourself.

The only thing the Italians are good at is diving... and match-fixing. Should never have been a penalty and we were once again screwed over by the refs (just as we were against Brazil and Croatia), who are clearly favouring the stronger soccer nations and giving the minnows no change.

I reckon Brazil will win it for the second time running, the only teams that look capable of beating them at this stage are Germany and Argentina, and unfortunately one of them will be gone after tonight.

And on behalf of all Australians, can I just say: Come on Portugal... Knock the POMS out of the Cup! If they won the Cup, we would never hear the end of it. ;)
