If you own or mod another board and put it in your signature line that is fine, for now.

However, if you are PMing our members and our moderators asking them to join your site or if you are posting links to your board that you have to register to view, you are in the wrong.

We will not allow members to whore our member base to try and populate their boards. Please DO NOT PM people asking for them to come to your board, and do not post links about your board, and if you do post a link make sure that people do not have to sign up to see it.

I have received MANY complaints about this and we are not going to allow this to continue.

**Note, If you do not have permission from Elite ADMIN you can not post links to boards asking for people to come by etc. If admin gives you permission than you can do so but you must list the admin name on your post. Thats just professionalism, period.

Well we have asked and warned people for a while, but in the very recent past it has just gone crazy.

If people ask its one thing, but for us to stumble on threads where people are bad mouthing our board and giving out address to others is just crazy. These are the same people who come here everyday.

A lot of complaints came in due to the way a certain board owner departed this site, then had a lot of people start pushing his site on our board. That and many other instances like it with other boards.

All I expect is professionalism.

I understand where EF Sam is coming from though since it took EF years to build the members it has and it's not fair for other boards to market its member base. In the real world a company could be sued for doing that and would most likely win in court since it's fairly easy to prove.

I am not advertising to joing the site or pming memebers, it is up to thier FREE WILL to come check out the sites.

Also the diffrence between putting board links and supplement company links is the fact that EF sells sponsorships to supplement advertisers, ie (AF store) so you cannot go and advertise ********** (which i dont know why u would anyways) because that is in direct violation of EF rules......

Im sure EF sam would be more then happy to explain the rules to you.....no need to play devils advocate as this does not concern you in the least

Credentials are like stats...5 10 285 lifting 10 years things like that. Being a monitor at a board requires no special talent for the most part in these boards that are springing up like weeds around the net. Now just about everyone is an expert and a monitor, and really they for the most part are inexperinced parrots-just repeating what they read somewhere else with out real world experience.
