31 yrs old male. Has been a quite heavy drinker for 10 yrs+. I have also used swedish wet snuff (yes, I'm a swede...it's like extremely strong chewing tobacco...) since 16. I don't sleep very well, eat very well or go to the gym at all!!! I have an anxious/aggressive personality etc. (by the book=low test), and is quite a pain in the ass for the people around me. No medications except for Symbikort (for asthma, inhaler). I used to eat remeron (mirtazapine, AD) for two yrs, but quit 3 months ago. No AAS or drugs (some joints in my youth but a long time ago) I've got a very low libido and I'd like to change that. I don't know if it has been the constant hangovers...but nightly sweats and abnormal heartbeats is nothing new to me...I don't drink more than 2-3 glasses of wine/month, no nicotine either. Testicles of normal size, maybe a tiny bit small.
I will of course shape myself up; eat properly, start working out 3 times a week and get a good nights sleep, every night. But I'm going to have some bloodwork done also, just to find out. Will these tests be enough (except for the common bloodworks like thyroidea, blood sugar, liver etc):
Testosterone
(Free testosterone)
SBGH
LH
IGF-1
PSA
Cortisol
AFT (DHEA's)
Prolactin
Am I totally lost, or will the change in lifestyle and use of alcohol/nicotine maybe bring me back? Or am I fucked for life? And yeah, I know, you can't live the way I used to and expect to feel well...but today I actually bought a cookbook, and access to the local gym. Thanx in advance!
