Im out of town for a month for a mission and im stuck in the middle of no where. I tried to look for a gym i could go to but there is absolutely nothing. I was lucky enough to find ONE 40 lb dumbell in the attic. I dont want to stop training for a month so what can i do with one dumbell? I know its a rediculous question but im kind of desperate and i dont have much time to be all creative and come up with my own.

Unilateral floor presses, single arm upright rows, lateral/front raises, single arm overhead press, single arm arnold press, dumbell row, hammer supinated and pronated curls...

With bodyweight and a dumbell, you should be able to maintain at least.

Try filling a backpack with the DB and what ever else you can find. Rocks, books, scrap metal, cat shit...

Then do pushups (diamond, standard, from hip, wide, jumping, one handed...whatever you can) and squats (narrow, wide, ATG and beyond). You could even be creative and flip it around for front and zercher squats. And overhead presses!

Have a friend? Lift that friend! Bench, squats, deads...just use your friend as dead weight...

you could do...

pullups/chinups, pullovers and inverted rows for back and bi's
weighted pushups, handstand pushups, db laterals, bent over laterals or db presses for chest shoulders tri's
wrist curls for forearms
weighted situps for abs
one leg squats, one leg calf raises, one leg RDL for legs

or if you have time buy a resistance band to take with you

yeah if you have a friend like lweaver said that would help, you could even put him on your back and do hill sprints that would work legs and back and abs pretty hard

I would consider throwing that 40 lbs weight out the window to save fuel, when you get where you're going you can find something to lift. Lift a chick, if you're going to Ohio by chance you can find some nice large ones there. I see them everywhere I go.

I was lifting a 50 pound bag of rice when I was on business and didn't have weights. Got the rice from a neighbor. Did mostly overhead presses, high rep squats with rice on back, tricep work , bicep work etc.
