That one too....in both cases, the games have evolved to a point where nobody can accomplish either feat, even if they were far more skilled than either Gretzky or Young.

suffice to say that gretzky's point record will never be broken. i still think that lemieux is the most talented to ever play though.

Makes you wonder how much points Super Mario would have done without all the injuries he had

^^^Not only that, but imagine if he'd come into the league at the same time as Wayne and gone to a good team. Mario put up decent numbers playing with complete bums for many years when he first got to Pittsburgh.

Wayne and Mario's numbers are ridiculous...1.92 and 1.91 points per game. Can't even imagine someone pulling off 156 point seasons consistently in today's NHL.
