I'd like to get much bigger than what I am at the moment (about 150, not very built) will just exercises and eating right/protein get me there or am I going to need something else?

If you're not looking to be a professional body builder or a competitive athlete, solid training and eating will be all you need. You can get very big with dedication and consistency.

Exactly what the other said, you need 2 things for growth. 1) stimulus for growth (liftings progressively bigger over time), and 2) fuel, in our case, food...you need to be in a calorie surplus (more calories taken in throughout the day than you use).

in case you missed it in the other responses....EAT. and your weight, it doesn't matter how clean you eat, just eat as much as you can,

I need to eat more but I'm not sure what to eat a lot of, cereal good? lots of chicken? whats something easily available that I can eat a lot of?

I drink about 2 whey protein shakes a day.

alternate between ur protein options: chicken, beef, pork, fish (tuna, salmon, cod, etc... lots of variety here), shrimp, shellfish, tofu, protein shakes (everyday for breakfast and post-workout), milk, yogurts, cheese...

also eat lots of fiberous veggies (broccoli, and other rabbit food) and nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, peanuts)

as a shortcut, i eat lots of chinese food, but the healthier stuff, more steamed or sauteed (not so much fried). and i have it with steamed brown rice instead of fried rice.

and complex carbs preferrably earlier in the day - oatmeal, grits, brown rice, multigrain breads.

keep things from getting boring by using more sauces (hot sauce), or different marinates/glazes/and dressings... and spice it up. also, mix up the preparation (grill it, sautee it, bake it, broil it, make a stew etc...)

i went from a pathetically scrawny 135lbs with 10% bf to 175lbs with 16% bf in 2-3 years eating big and lifting hard (i'm going to cut down my bf in a little bit after i go on starr's 5x5 bulking phase till the end of this year, just starting this today actually... Basically, I've transformed myself into a new person and most of the credit is due to my diet, since I wasn't even working out with the perfect routine, especially when I started.

Lastly, i keep my portion sizes so that i will get hungry again to eat every 3 hours. good luck!

......all i can tell you is what was said, they are all right. start eating man.
i burn up food at a rediculous rate. belive it or not, i didnt start growing, till i got my diet right. i need to eat at least 4.000 cal.\a day. and thats not an easy task for a 166lb. 36 year old. but i do , so if you also wanna get big you also need too. good luck.
