Hi. I'm new here and just want answers to a few specific questions.

My husband is on cycle and is currently taking:
Testosteronecypinate and one rip.
I'm not sure on his dosage but either one or both could be 3x per week.
Sperm counts are at 40 million? give or take for a 'normal' male (not saying anyone isn't normal though lol) but what do they drop to while on cycle?

What I want to know is the effects these two combined have on fertility now and in the future?
What actually happens to the sperm? Do they 'vanish' or do they just not move?
What would the average count go down to?

I have no birth control but he seems very sure he's 'firing blanks' at this time.
I just want other people's experiences and any information will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what the count would be but I got my gf pregnant while on 300mg of test. It's def not a good form of birth control lol.

I don't know what a rip is, but my wife got pregnant while I was on a lot more than 300mg of testosterone per week. Now I have a 6 year old son

Unless you want to get pregnant, use some REAL protection. Steroids are not protection.

As for long term, I really can't say. But I have known quite a few people who fathered after cycling.

My wife and I always joke that our kids will be beast and genetically superior because they were both conceived while I was on cycle. I always say it apparently only kills the weak sperm. My boys are like Spartan warriors, probably why testosterone therapy was being tested years ago as a fertility drug for men but nothing ever came of it, I'm living proof as to why as are others.

So why is he so sure that his sperm count is practically non existent? Well I'm presuming this is because he's never got anyone pregnant while he's been on cycle!
I thought that the type of steroids he's taking stopped your own body from producing sperm?
He has used steroids for years. He came off them and we conceived our son with no problems. I also came off depo,it took 3 months but that was waiting for my body to return to normal.

It's all very interesting!

I wouldn't just rely on his word alone, you'd want to get a sperm count done I would imagine to find out for sure. Each of us is different.
