I tried to check my post this morning but the board was down. I'm back from work now so here's my story
about a year and a half ago my doctor said I was morbidly obese, which was a shock.

I was 5'10.5" tall, 42" pants. He weighed me at 280something I don't remember exactly. Anyhoo, because he said that my heath insurance when WAYYYY up and I even lost it for a month or 2 before finding a new company. I got a pretty big frame. My cousin is 5' 11" and skinny and still weighs 180. So I figure I'll end up around there when I'm done.
So what got me started was 2 things. One, I had brand new 42" pants that didn't fit. 42" is the biggest at the normal stores and there was NO WAYY I'd go to a big and tall store so I figured I'd have to do something. Two, I gave up mayo and soda and potatos for lent last year before easter. I use to be a soda and french fry fiend. I'd drink soda like water and always get fry's in fast food combos, and when I use to study for finals and midterms I'd always have chips and soda to snack. So with the no soda no mayo no fry's I ended up getting steak and chicken bruitos and tacos for lunch and the weight came off like crazy. That combo worked all the way till a month or 2 ago when it stopped working. I guess since I had less muscle, the muscle that supported 65 lbs. every day, my metabolism slowed down. So after then I cut the calories more and tried to keep up the protien and it started working again.
The whole time I took no suppliments, no pills, no drugs, and probably went to the gym half a dozen times.
