How can a steroid give you huge mass gains but not very good strength gains or huge strength but not very good mass gains? if a steroid gives you mass, shouldn't you get ridiculous strength with the new muscle mass built? And im not talking about water retention mass... a good example i can think of is t-bol vs anavar. T-bol is said to be better to putt on size then anavar, but anavar will give better strength gains then T-bol, nether give any water retention... so why dose T-bol make your muscles bigger but not stronger and anavar make you muscles stonger but not that much bigger?
 
i've hit PR's in strength on both var and tbol so whoever told you that bro science is wrong

they probably had bunk product or they probably weren't lifting consistent to get an accurate description

all steroids will put on mass and strength. the thing is guys confuse water retention with mass. which it isn't the same thing
 
they are all going to give you strength man and i agree with steve... there is far too much broscience out there or people get bad products... there are fakes everywhere and people get the wrong impression about how a compound is working

Two things. I train for strength so I get strong (or try to). Other don't.

Secondly, steroids were created for different purposes therefore we expect some differences in results.
 
All steroids increase muscle protein synthesis.

Increased muscle protein synthesis = more muscle = more strength
