New To The Game And Need Help Please!!!

Thanks for all your support guys! I am definately on a strict cardio and light weight trainning program. This includes treadmill for 1 hr at 4.5 and stairmaster for 15 mins. My results so far are nice but im sure most of it is water weight. My diet consists of the following.

Breakfast- 1 banana 1 apple total whole wheat cereal and 2 glasses of water.
snack-fruit or raw almonds
Lunch- Tuna fish out of can 6oz. and a salad with light dressing. 4 glasses water.
snack- fruit or nuts again.
Dinner- Roasted chicken, grilled chicken or baked chicken with veggies(green) 2 glasses of water.
snack-pretzels(i i know but late at night thats all that i can get my hands on)...

Any suggestions?

I will supply pics soon.

The first thing I would see to change is add a protein shake in their somewhere. You are eating healthy and that is good, but eliminate the pretzels at night and maybe add your protein shake there. There are some very knowledgable guys on here about diet and the diet forum also has some good threads about fine tuining your caloric intake.

Your protein intake should be 3x what it is now. The reason being, you want to maintain the muscle you have. Get some Whey protein(23-28g of protein per serving) and maybe some Casein and drink these throughout the day.
Do cardio first thing in the morning, if possible.
Consume one whey shake as soon as you awake or after the cardio.
Eat breakfast.
Instead of a snack after breakfast, eat egg whites. Maybe 6-8.
Instead of pretzels at night, have a serving of low-fat yogurt or cottage cheese withy tomatoes. :Chef: :tuc:

maybe Im just ignorant, but how the hell do you lose 35 pounds in a couple of weeks?
I think that cardio and diet not drugs should be your main focus. You don't want to lose the weight too fast or I think a big part of what your losing is going to be muscle. You want to lose weight, but you want to lose FAT not muscle. If you lose 50 pounds in the next 3 months, and half of that is muscle that is going to be much less beneficial than say losing 75 pounds over the next year where most of it is fat. I have often thought that people who weigh 300 pounds to start with could end up looking pretty jacked if they were able to lose 60 or 70 pounds that is primarily fat...Also make sure you are eating plenty of protein like chefbone said....from what I have read, during cardio Glutamine is the primary amino acid that muscle is broken down for, there is speculation that some supplemental glutamine BEFORE your pre-meal morning cardio would be beneficial in burning the fat and keeping the muscle...I dont have enough first hand experience with this particular idea, but I have read about it quite a bit. One other idea for you is to drink even more water than you are, cold water helps burn a few extra calories because your body has to warm it up, and staying well hydrated will help with actual fat loss (not just water weight because your dehydrated)
also congratulations on starting a workout program, stick with it. I have seen plenty of people start working out and quit a few weeks later, the main difference I have seem between those who get results and those who dont is dedication, and intensity. all the supplements and drugs only assist those two things, because without dedication and intensity your not going to get the results you want. Good luck bro!
