NEW SCAMMER OUT BE CAREFUL [email protected]

Yeah seemebig..but there's still a problem with listening to others. There is someone who posted on this thread who likes to call people scammers when in fact they are not. It seems it's easier to divert people to "their" source by scaring people off from others.

Case in point....I know newbies who asked mods if a certain person was good..and they said he was scamming. Thing is...he's the most popular source at another site. Take a look at who used to support strictlybolics..and his cronies like STK.

It all comes down to trust and a few people are losing theirs everyday.

I feel for the guys who haven't been filled by strictlybolics especially since other boards were having problems with him long before this post popped up.

I just remembered

I emailed him asking about his website. The address change and he asked me to stick up for him on the boards. He said he had straightened everything out with most of the mods of other boards but couldn't fix things with the UG. So his web addy changes, becomes domestic, and now his site is under construction or something. Just goes to show you that this is a tricky game and everyone should be careful.

Do not accuse mods on this board of being on the take. This is not one of the other boards you may frequent, Scams do not occur here on a monthly basis backed by all the mods.

Our job is to help you as best we can. I never ok'd strictly and even cautioned those that emailed me about him. We as mods direct you to people the we know to be good up until that day of the email, if we find out a week later there is nothing we can do other than hope you havent sent the funds and try to get in touch with you. If someone goes bad that has been good for a year or 2 its impossible to predict. THAT SAID, we are way more successful than not, Id say if you validate your source through a mod or two you will be at 95% or higher if the mod suggests one to you that he knows to be top notch. When we find out about something shady we expose it and do everything in our power to help. Scammers and Reverse scammers all suck and should not be tolerated.

Slopain you make some good points-however that 95 percentile quote of success of ordering using MODs is way inflated- there are many more scammer stories from this board that are just not posted- I don't know what the answer or alternative is but it's time for a change.

I doubt that, I do think its impossible to come up with an exact figure though. I have never steared one person to a scammer - I think most of the mods are in the same boat. Every scam that happens is definetly not b/c it was checked with a mod, on the contrary the majority of the scams were from newbies or impatient people who FAILED to properly check the person out and/or ignored the many responses of "I have never heard of him" which is typically an unsafe sign when ordering.

What change do you propose?
