I saw those on the American Athletics site when I ordered mine. I thought they were probably overkill.

Reminds me though, on July 4th, the wife, Trinity, Exodus, Trinity's family and I were all eating at a buffet. There was a guy in there that was probably close to 6'8" around 125lbs. He was wearing some of those boots that professional wrestlers wear, you know the ones that lace almost up to your knees. The really funny thing was that he had his pants tucked in to them.

We laughed so hard at that guy.

I wish there were some way that Doc Martins would make good training boots. Be so cool to deadlift in 'em - or squat. My fave pair of boots are my knee high Docs. Bitch to put on, but soooo worth it.
