I totaled my '04 Infiniti G35 coupe
Getting 18k in insurance money so not all is lost :D
Im thinking bout either and '05 or '06 G35 the one with the 18hp addition
or '05-'06 Pontiac GTO
Or Pontiac G8 GT or GXP
Anybody have an 05 or 06 GTO? hwo are they

You probably know the GTO's were all rebadged cars from GM's Australian Holden division. They are generally well built cars, but did have a few issues. IIRC a particular batch had shock failure that showed up quickly after they were purchased so ask if the car you're looking at was one of those that got dealer replacement shocks. Check the paint. Some had paint issues and may have had to get partial repaints already so you want to make sure the matching was done well.

Definitely look for a one owner. I used to read a GTO board back in '05 and '06 and many of those guys really babied their cars. Find one of those types and it should be in fine shape mechanically. When looking at them check to see if the owner installed a oil catch can as oil loss can be an issue and the addition of a well done catch can will keep your oil level good. In generally eyeball any DIY mods really carefully. Some guys may have done excellent jobs on mods, others not so much. You will find cars that are no longer stock so watch for that.

beauty, brains, knows her way around a torque wrench, fills up a thong as good as anyone i've ever seen, and the girl/girl encounter story. . .jeezuz. . .sometimes i wonder if she's real or just a figment of my imagination :qt:
 
All the GTOs I see on the road these days already have faded paint and really sloppy panel fit. They were not well made and aren't holding up. The interior seems to get shabby pretty quickly too.
 
i had an infiniti i loved it but idk if i wanna get the same car and the gto would be faster, speed is what im looking for

I know but the loss should have been worse. Didn't notice the late reaction at tree.

This makes me want to run my vette one time at this place just over the line in Alabama. I've got a tune and a CAI for Christmas. WHP is up to 367 now.

All the GTO's I see up in New England are only driven in the summer months and in great shape.

The references to obscure 80's movies and the knowledge of cars has convinced me that RW is a middle-aged man like me using fake pics and stats in order to be the perfect fantasy girl for a middle-aged man (like me).

He's working on the Maston Gregory move. He'll just step out of his speeding car when he loses control and somehow miraculously survive horrific crashes on multiple occasions.

well sorry to all ive had to tell EVERYONE i was driving so it didnt even cross my mind to write the real story i had to say i was or else insurance would not have covered it and yes I know its a lesson learned I was a few beers in and tried to be responsible and let the sober one dirve and he cant handle it sorry if i pissed any one off in return you have no idea how many times ive had to sit there and take the bad driver comments when I couldnt reply back how I wanted to so my apologies
