hi guys... i'm planning to start my first clen cycle in about a wk but i was wondering what exactly i should expect. i know of the side effects but should i be expecting to drop a lot of weight fast (like 5 pounds a wk) or should i be expecting less results? i'm 5'9" 158Ilbs... if that makes a difference.
also... any of you that have taken clen before, what's the max recommended dosage for women. i'm expecting side effects for sure b/c i'm in the middle of my first two wks of eca and i had horrible side effects for about 4 days...tapering off now but they were pretty bad for a while there. i tend to be pretty sensitive to any drug (sleeping pills, pain killers and such drug the hell out of my on normal dosages)... how do i know when to consider stopping if sides are too bad? thx guys...anything would be great!!!

If you are sensitive to any drug, why would you want to take clen or any drug that isn't necessary?

A good clean diet, and training program will take you along way with getting lean.

I second what 24K said.

Clen is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overrrated in my opinion. I find it quite useless for weight loss / fat reduction.

I have much better luck with plain old clean diet ... then add Thermorexin.

I have to agree as well. I can handle most ECA but clen is like a 12 hr panic attack. If you are sensitive, you will probably feel something like a tension headache all the time and a strung-out feeling.

Honestly, there is absolutely no such thing as a magic pill and if there were, clen would be one of the least magic out there. For the way it makes you feel, you can seriously get better results w/o the shitty feeling and impact to the quality of your sleep by just making your diet a 100% top priority.

If you've just now started an ECA stack - are you buildign your own w/ something like NoDoz, aspirin & ephedrine HCl? Have you tried any of the OTC thermos? Thermorexin is awesome. Cardio Breeze might be even better for you if you are really sensitive to stimulants. You didnt' detail what your "sides" are so i dont know what exactly is the problem w/ the ECA. But if you are having problems w/ that after only 2 weeks, clen is a step backwards.

I agree with everyone else. Clen was awful for me. Not only did it make me HUNGRY, but it negatively impacted my workouts.

TOTALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR DIET....

if you arent on a smart cutting diet, you wont lose an ounce on Clen....

while the anxiousness has been mentioned as a side..the cramps are unimaginable if you arent supplementing with potassium, sodium and taurine

not worth it imo

i've been on a good clean diet before...plenty of times and never lost an ounce. i exercised and ate 110% clean but couldnt drop the body fat...i mean, i built some muscle but never lost the body fat, which obviously made the scale climb as well when i was aiming for the opposite. sides with the eca only lasted for 3 or 4 days... i had all the normal sides but they seemed to effect me more than my boyfriend who is also taking eca. i had pretty bad sweating...but then again it got unseasonally hot for a few days and i wasn't really dressed for the weather. other than that it was really just that i felt like i was really drugged out and then i crashed really hard about 3 hrs after taking it. i also got some psychosis which was scary but all of these have subsided now. the only real effect i notice now is that my mood is extremely unstable. (then again i quit smoking 9 days ago...)
anyway...i've had the clean diet and exercise and i'm not looking for a miracle pill just something to help out. the eca is already helping a small amt. it just seems that no matter what i do i can't lose the BF (until i started eca)
when i was thinner (i gained 20Ilbs in 2 yrs) i was stable at 145 for almost a yr...eating moderate portions of junk food every single day, more than once usually (including full fat muffins, macaroni and cheese, full fat sour cream and 2% milk... ) and even when i went on a trip to new york for school a year ago (after gaining 10 pounds in the summer for lack of exercise) i ate mcdonalds and bacon, take out...EVERYTHING i ate was junk... i may have had some strawberries but we only had junk available (37 hr bus ride... not too many options) and i didnt gain an ounce... doesnt make any sense. maybe my diet's all wrong???

Could you please post your 110% clean diet? I find it hard to believe that you are dieting so clean and 10 -12 x your bodyweight and not losing any fat. Maybe you were eating clean but too much?

See the stickies at the top of the board tons of examples of clean cutting diets there.

Write down everything you eat and when for the next two days and post it. It will tell the story.
Don't forget to write what you drink too. For me to stay lean I only drink water (none of that flavored crap... it packs on fat) and green tea!
The clen will not treat you well if you had some issues with ECA. I would avoid it at all costs.
I personally don't notice any effects from it unless I am below 9% bodyfat. Even then I'm not sure I would drop a full pound of fat in two weeks!!!!

i posted yesterday's diet on the diet forum... but i think you could be right miss24k... i'm wondering if i'm not eating enough good fats... i'm at my boyfriends most of the time now since he lives 30 mins closer to the university but he really doesnt have much there. we eat chicken breast WAY too much and i'm really getting sick of it...almost every dinner for the last 5 or 6 days has been bbq chicken breasts with salad and beans...ugh...
he doesnt eat fish and neither does his mom so that screws me for that... i eat peanut butter bread every morning b/c it's the only thing with some substance... otherwise it's cheerios or mini-wheats(which obviously have too much sugar)... it's frustrating. that and there's nothing to take for lunches... we eat at mcdonalds (deli sands and subway and such, the healthy sandwiches, not the meatball subs lol) but i'm running out of ideas.
what should i add?
o, that and my cardio has sucked this wk... the gym is crappy right now b/c the basement, where it was, got flooded out and they had to move it to a gym upstairs thats about 1/4 of the size. the only machine i can manage to get on is the bike and i can't get any weights... i walk ALOT around the university during the day but it doesnt really get my heart rate up... it'll be like this pretty much until the beginning of october. don't have time for cardio at nite... i have nite courses and 3-4 hrs of notes to re-write, textbooks and such to read for class... any suggestions??

Re: cant lost the BF
ok... i used to eat carbs later in the day after dinner... but it was only popcorn, nothing else but have since cut that out... what time should i stop eating carbs?
i've stopped drinking altogether now since i'm quitting smoking... cant drink without a smoke. and i have quit drinking before while dieting and exercising but still didnt make any difference that i noticed.
my main carb sources are whole wheat bread (which i dont even eat that much of since i hate sandwiches...only eat it in the morning)( brown rice, vegetables... no refined carbs, no sugar.
calories at present are at about 1000-1300 calories a day but were at 1500-1700 before.
before when i exercised i didnt even bother watching my heart rate because i was so focused on burning calories... especially after working out for a while and realized that i wasnt dropping BF.

ok...this is what i ate yesterday

breakfast 9:30am- 2 slices whole wheat bread with 2 tbsp peanut butter
2 cups water

snack- missed this ( i know, not good...) was in class

lunch12:30pm- 3 fat free weiners (only 118 cals, lots of protein)
2 pickles (i know, sodium...but i dont eat them too much... and my sodium intake has gone way down since i quit smoking)
1 cup cauliflaur (half was going to be part of my snack)

snack- 2:30-apple

dinner:6:30pm- one chicken breast, large salad with 1 tsp dressing, 1/4 cup beans

this was yesterday and lately has been close to this...if not worse. i'm just starting university so i'm still trying to get into the routine. i'm looking into on-campus meal plans but they dont look good... i'm just stumped as to what i can bring (besides always eating protein bars) that i can eat without a huge hassle and bring that won't take up a lot of space. i can't carrry a backpack (back problems)...
thx guys

I asked your post in the diet forum, but I will copy my post here :)

Where to start... 1st forget all about taking clen, or any another "fatburner" because your diet is a mess, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just meaning honest.

Ok 1st you are starving yourself. Your calories should be at 10-12 times your bodyweight. So you said you weight 158lbs you calories should be between 1580 and 1896. If you do not eat enough, your body goes into starvation mode and will not let the fat go.

2nd, use this ratio 40% protein, 30% carbs, and 30% fats. Use fitday.com to track this.

Weiners are not a good source of protein, also you should have protein at every meal. If you need soe help with a 100% clean diet, go to the ladies forum and check out the stickies, there are diets from Shadow and Daisy there.

There are good sources of protein: egg whites, tuna, chicken, turkey, not that processed crap either.

Good carbs of carbs: Oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potato, all fruits and veggies

Good fat sources: olive oil, all natural peanut butter avacado, coconut oil, almonds flaxseed oil.

Also if I were you I would drop the bread.

Probably the biggest issue for women - they are so busy worrying about carbs that they don't realize they are neglecting the protein. Your body isnt' all about the fat - its the fat AND the muscle. Not necessarily in that order.

ok... i kinda figured i didnt eat enough that day... but then again lately i havent been eating much more than that. since i started taking the eca my appetite has gone with it but today and yesterday it seems to be returning a bit.

how much protein should i aim for approx? in grams...

1 gram per pound of body weight or lean mass depends who you talk to.
