im working manual labor(roughneck for an environmental drilling company) and recently started a cutting cycle. I have been on for 7 days exactly. I am averaging about 30 grams/carb a day or less. Im not sure how many grams of fat im taking in, but i know my protein is around 250/day, and is mainly coming from cheese, egg whites, tuna fish, and chicken breasts. My body weight has dropped 17 pounds, which i know is all water weight. Im 5'11" 250 at the moment with approx 24% body fat.
Now my question is this: THis work is very taxing, and i know i burn tons of calories a day at work. Should I even do cardio? Should i take in more carbohydrates for energy at work to avoid muscle loss? I gained all this weight from a sloppy bulking cycle I just went on. I started at 230, and wanna get down to about 210 with less than 15% body fat. But like i said, i dont wanna overdo it too much and lose the muscle i gained from the bulking cycle, which im estimating was about 12 pounds of lean mass.
thanks in advance.
