what kind of protein powder can i get locally that will work well for my upcoming ckd? i want fat and protein only. are there any powders out there like this that TASTE GOOD that i can probably find locally?
 
Oh, now that narrows it down!

Sure, just go to the next town and get it down the street from that other place that usually has great stuff, but has high prices. If not just go to the other one....

Whey may not be your best choice when doing a keto diet, FYI. If you insist of using a liquid protien try casienate and mix it with olive oil or flax seed oil. Otherwise go with surloin or new york strip.
 
^^canola oil is primarily comprised of omega-6 type fatty acids.
there is a significant abundance, I would say an influx, of omega-6's in american diet already. Fish+flax oil, add extra virgin olive oil for monounsaturated and you're set!

I agree w/BBF here. Save your money on powders when you are trying to add calories, not cut.
