I am about to start my first cycle
I dont want to get huge just 5-10 lbs and lose fat.
Testosterone cypionate 200mg a week for 10 weeks.
I have never done any steroids before what should I use for PCT? and how long after I stop the test should I start.

My stats
31 years old
5'8 170 lbs
12% body fat

Any help is much appreciated!!

Research a bit more and I would do 500mg for 10 weeks , but you need to do your homework maybe throw in an oral the 1st four weeks.

My diet is around 3500 calories 150g of protien a day. I lift 3 days a week supper sets alternate muscle groups till failure 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 3 days a week I do cardio around a hour with 1 day off. I also play vollyball on sunday night for around 2 hours.
My problem is I can't change size at all.... I work alot and have been the same size for around 2 years give or take 10 to 15 lbs. i can get to 185 but mostley water and fat.

uh. well. Let's see to start you need to eat more/better go look up my post in the diet section. As for training you need to really be killing it in the gym to see growth on a 3 day split... I workout 4-6 days a week myself. my focus is strength and power you want to ask some of the bodybuilders for some muscle building advice if hypertrophy is your goal.

I try to kill it but i am still sore from the last work out.

...Three probable causes of this:
1.Your calories and or supplementation is not enough to meet the demands of your body...eat more food eat esp protein and starch carbs +plenty of veggies. take a vitamin/creatine/BCAA/fish oil
2.You are over training your body..get more sleep and don't always work til failure.
3.You have not been working out long enough to have developed the muscular endurance needed for intense weight training sessions.

I suspect it's your caloric intake

basic logic. if what you are doing is not working.. CHANGE IT

change your workout. do less w/ more intensity. start one of the more common programs like 5x5 and stick to it like glue.. no modifications

change your diet .. eat more protein.. aim for like 250g 6 meals a day w/ 40 grams .. you dont even need protein powder.. but if you do use it.. make it in addition to the 240 from whole food.

john, give an example of ur typical daily diet, all meals with macro nutrients, calories, etc.

Sent from my HTC T-Bolt.

question: If I do a low dose cycle of test 50 or 100 mg a week will i still have to PCT? Or is that low of dose not going to do anything for me anyways??

definitely do not do 50mg of test a week.

please do more research..

look for good first stacks.. read all the stickies

while you are doing your research change up your diet and routine and increase your intensity at the gym

why do you keep avoiding the questions and comments about changing your diet and routine... this is where your problems are... if you keep avoiding the obvious issue how do you expect anyone to ever really help you....

Put that crap in the cabinet now, stored properly it will be goodfor a good 7-8 yrs, now for starters i'm not telling you to wait 7-8 yrs, what i'm trying to do educate you, Steroids were desizned for athletes to go past the edge of their potentual, If you're not conditioned with at least 4-5 hard yrs in the gym forget it.
Sure you'll gain something but as soon as you come off you'll lose it all, The majority thinks this is some magic pill, If you're going to the olympics or competeing yeah! first starting out no. you'll mess your natural hormones up and get depressed loosing all that you got!

okay i have been working out for around 10 years 3 days a week, the past year i have been doing it least 5 days in the gym. plus I run a 5k 4 time a year so I also train for that too. I work in mfg and work hard at my 9 to 5. I also do yoga twice a day am and pm for 20 min.
I eat helthy but its hard to eat alot. I will take any advice about diet i can get. I am not avoiding the questions, I just have not had the time to add it all up.
Thanks

at your height and weight how are you running 5K's?

when i was an endurance athlete i weighed in the 130's and 140's and I am your height. do you just run them for fun? you are hefty for a runner.

the yoga thing you are doing is probably what is making you sore.. stretching out your muscles for 20 minutes 2X per day is gonna make you sore. just do light yoga after your workouts.. i did yoga back on saturday and my hamstrings were sore for 2 days, and its not like i never stretch.. its just that in yoga you over stretch the muscles and its way more intense than normal stretching.

also running a lot will make you sore as well. i would focus on 1 thing at a time.. if you want to be a 5K runner then focus on that, if you want to be a bodybuilder focus on that.. trying to throw in a bunch of things at one time its no wonder you are sore. your muscles are begging you to give them a break

also if juicing was the solution here hypothetically then what are you gonna do when you come off? be right back in this same boat? if what you say is true you are over training. and you are not getting enough rest. IF rest to you is running 5K's and 40 minutes of yoga then you are overtraining. yoga will still work the shit out of your muscles and stretch them out, and 5K's are brutal on your legs and shoulders as well.

this is what you do if you want to bodybuild and build muscle. forget the 5K's. just do a 20 minute walk a day or EOD. do intense yoga 2-3X per month at the most. do regular stretching after your workouts but not too deep whatever muscles you worked that session. and stick to lifting 5X per week like you have been doing. get 8 hours of sleep. and you will be GOLDEN

Thanks for the help. The yoga is mostly light stretching and push-ups
My time for a 5k is around 21min. I have started running a mile and a half and then walking the rest I average around 6 1/2 minute mile
But I only do that two days a week should I stop running altogether? Then maybe just stretch in mornings and evenings

you need to decide whether you want to be a runner or bodybuilder you can't have both.

^^^ THIS.

sounds like you want to be a yoga guy, runner, and bodybuilder all in 1. that is fine but just don't expect to have your body say thank you to that kind of pounding you are giving it. your body being sore is telling you enough is enough. the fact alone you run a 21 minute 5K tells me you are spending too much time running, that is a very good time for a guy your size. you won't win any races but its still a very strong time.. most people would love to run it in 21 minutes.

Hey is there any stuff I can take that will not hit me up on a piss test. I'm 230 6'1 I have not taken anything before. It's been 7 years I got hurt and I'm mid 34. I just can't build like I use to.

Okay NO MORE RUNNING. I have started a new diet around 6500 calories and 240g of pro a day. I work out 6 days a week 45min, with the new diet i am losing weight not much 2 lbs I think just fat. but i have been only doing it a week... Once i get my diet right i will come back with more questions.
