I'm told that I look like slim. Just out of proportion.
i did strength training for a few months, and I gained an inch on my thighs so I promptly gave that up.
Then get yourself in proportion by working on your upper body instead of your legs.
Looking good is all about creating optical illusions. If you have chunky legs, make your back and shoulders wider and keep your midsection trim.
Rather than beating your head against the wall trying to perfect things which are out of your control ie: you were born with structurally solid legs, focus on widening your torso (lats and shoulders) to enhance your proportions.
It sounds easy because it is.......you just have to take a step back and look at the whole picture, not just a part of it.
VG, you're so right. I will never have a small arse or legs, even if I lost every ounce of fat. So I countered that by growing some 45+ inch shoulders to go with my 42" arse. Still looks proportional that way.
good point...I'm "blessed" with a big booty and the thighs to match, which makes me unproportional. I'm working my ass off (no pun intended) to increase my lats and shoulders. I don't think my back has ever looked as good as it does now...then again I didn't ever train like I do now!
That's what I always tell my female clients. If you want your legs and ass to look smaller, work on bigger shoulders and lats. People won't even get to looking at your legs if you have 17" arms
