I take it you saw is Video. I saw that too and thought that statement was a bit odd. I find Nasser to be pretty straight forward though, so good for Him I still need 200gms plus.
 
100g of protein a day is only half of the story, he bulks on 3000cals per day, go to his web site, this ideocity is all over it
 
Actually, while 100g of protein seems too little, I believe during the bulking cycle, carbs and fat play a more important role. Protein should be kept at 1 g per pound of LEAN muscle mass and carbs and fat should rocket.

Funny thing is, some years ago I read in FLEX that Nasser takes in 600g of protein a day. Probably pre contest.

But yes, off season protein should be less.

It is possible! Maybe you don't need SO much protein.

It takes about 1 year for a guy to gain 10 pound of muscle. That means that "daily gain is"

365/5000g (5000g =5 kg = about 10 pounds) .... = 0.073 g of musle.

Nasser eats 100g of protein that builds muscle. Obviously 100g is much bigger than 0.073 g!!! Plus half of the muscle is water.... so yoiu dont even get thoise 0.073g all from protein........
 
It surprises me that he would say that... Guys like that usually tell you they eat 600g a day and try to make you think that's how they got so big..

Also, many are sponsored by supplement companies.. I'm surprised he didn't say he needs xg's of protein a day from this particular company.
