Has anyone here tried this? I've just read the literature and it seems too good to be true. And that what seems usually is. If it is true, has anyone stacked with AAS? Dyin' to hear this.
myostatin blockers do not work, they are based off a study in which a mouse's dna was engineered to have lower myostatin levels and so the mouse grew 2x the muscle mass of a regular mouse, To achieve this in humans you would need to alter our genetic structure, no pill will do that to my knowledge.
It is theoretically possible to neutralize the protein produced by the gene without actually altering your DNA. This is what Myo-Blast claims to do. However there are several reasons why I think it's bunk. The first is covered thoroughly in a recent post by SteelWeaver on this topic....basically there is no evidence that blocking the action of this gene (through genetics or otherwise) results in enhanced muscle gains in fully developed adult humans. Secondly, there is no peer reviewed research that I know of showing this seaweed extract will block the myostatin protein, though there are other proteins such as follistatin which will do this. Third objection is the unlikelyhood of this purported myostatin inactivating protein to be bioavailable through any oral delivery method for the same reasons that proteins such as insulin don't work when taken by mouth. Fourth objection....naaaaaah. I'm tired of typing. Suffice it to say I won't be wasting my money on it.
