AFTER the baby ... my first question, because I don't know, throwing steroids in the mix while breast feeding?? Someone please clarify that. (Though common sense says wait a while huh?)
To understand more about the various AS that women "prefer", check one of WarLobo's killer threads:

BUT, before you even let your wife consider AS, and please note that we recommend this for ANY women who are considering AS -- its NOT a weight loss pill/shot. The best thing she can do is establish & follow a good diet, training & cardio program for a while (and by a while I mean - AT LEAST a few years) before looking to AS -- and even then, she should really only be looking at AS if she wants to compete (my personal opinion). The sort of weight loss you are talkign about can be achieved w/ diet & training.
AS works better when you are lean -- and it will often produce water retention - so that her goal of weight loss wouldnt' be achieved anyway.
I think your wife could gain a lot of good knowledge if you got her on here so she can make some informed decisions. AS any time near having a kid is a REALLY bad move.
So -- educate yourself & your wife. What you use is not necessarily good for her to use, and just because you have access to certain things does not mean they are the things to use.
With the happy moment upcoming, your wife will need to eat enough for herself & the bundle of joy, so now is not the time to start "dieting" -- if anything, just eat clean, stay away from the junk and perhaps query the doc to see what sort of training she can safely do now, at least to make sure the habits are in place when she is ready to begin the serious training again.
