My Heart and AS

D00fy

New member
find the echocardiogram report

My impressions from the ECHOCARDIOGRAM,

"The study revealed early diastolic dysfunction ,mild mr ,pr and tr"

everything else was fine, going to the heart doc wednesday to get more info,i drink alot of coffee like 4-5cups a day i was wondering if caffine could effect the outcome of the test? going back to the doc but this time 4days caffine free:(

anyway with what was mentioned
"The study revealed early diastolic dysfunction ,mild mr ,pr and tr"
wtf does that mean? and is it bad to juice especially my 1st cycle is in june?

Nothing to worry about really... But my first impression is that you migth need to loose a bit of water and salt, and maybe some bodyweigth. Keep your heart in shape, do cardio, but not too much. Start of easy, at a low pace, and after a while you migth switch to interval-cardio, witch I find to be the best for exercising the heart. Start drinking wine, listen to classical music, have sex, stop smoking and eating burgers. It's so easy...

Diastolic Dysfunction is when ventricular filling is impaired; this will lead to a decrease in stroke volume of the heart and an increase in diastolic pressure. Your ejection fraction is decreased. Many causes you may have Cardiomyopathy (left ventricular) do you have a history of high blood pressure. You may also have a valve problem such as Aortic Stenosis, Aortic Regurgitation & Mitral Regurgitation.

I don't expect you to answer this but it will help explain why this may be happening:

Do you have?

History of Amphetamine abuse
History of Cocaine abuse
Extreme alcohol use
Family history of heart valve defects
Extream Abuse of Anadrol.
History of high blood pressure

just coffee,

as for the cycle test/eq bad idea?

i dont have a high bp

also it said my (left ventricular was normal

Given you lack of history and a vague diagnosis of Diastolic Dysfunction with a normal LV then I would lean toward a leaky valve, which is decreasing your stroke volume. Advice

Follow up with cardiologist as planned
No caffeine or stimulants until fully evaluated
Continue to work out just decrease your weight load.
No AS!!

Possible treatment option is beta-blockers.
What prompted you to get the echocardiogram?

wanted to get a checkup before my 1st cycle.if they give me beta blockers JUST SAY can i still take as?

What prompted them to order to ECG!! Or was it part of the physical. Most people have an abnormal ECG. I have a bundle branch block form cardiovascular exertion related to athletics. The same thing that happens to long term methamphetamine users. Also the technician if not skilled ,can screw up the placement of the leads which can give the appearance of an abnormality.

I would say then not to worry.. You will be find. Even if you have a leakly valve you will be fine. There is a good chance that there is nothing wrong with you at all.

Follow up and provided there is nothing to serious than or just a minor valve problem.

EQ
Deca
OX
TEST

If you have a minor problem you might want to stay away from

Anadrol
D-ball

so lone if its nothing serious

test/eq will be okay if i monitor my condition,bp and how i feel?

what if they give me a beta blocker(JUST A GUESS,HOPE NOT) can i still use test/eq? for my 1st cycle?

I would say this. At this point don't just to any conclusions. Wait and see what the Cardiologist has to say. Then give us an update on your condition. Then you can get several opinions if AS is safe for you to use or not.

Damn LONE_AZ, excellent posts...that's the stuff I love to see. D00fy, in addition to the excellent information that LONE_AZ has already given you, the following supplements are EXCELLENT for the cardiovascular system and the heart mescle itself:

L-Carnitine
CoQ10
Magnesium Malate
Magnesium Orotate
Magnesium Aspartate
Magnesium Glycinate
A Full Spectrum Vitamin E (Gamma, Delta, Alpha, Beta tocopherol and tocotrienols)
B6
B12
Folic Acid
TMG
Taurine
Ribose (or ATP)
Calcium
Hawthorne (herb)

Believe it or not, this stuff ROCKS wrt to healping a comprimised heart muscle and/or cardiovascular system. Also, STAY AWAY from all stimulants! All the best, bro!

Let's see... you possibly have the beginning of heart disease and your only concern is whether you should put off starting your 1st cycle? Why is it that so many of the people on this board refuse to read the writing on the wall? You are getting responses from people who don't have the slightest idea what they are talking about telling you that there is nothing to worry about and that seems to be good enough for you. GOOD LUCK!

Otis2, the people that have no idea what they're talking about are telling him to get to his cardiologist and listed the top cardio supplements known to mankind. The "you probably have nothing to worry about" was within the context of easing his concerns until he sees his cardiologist. Despite what you are inferring, there are mature, caring, knowledgeable bro's on here helping him -- as well as others. If anything, your first sentence did more damage, most probably in error, than all of these posts combined. While I speak for myself and myself only, I suggest that you read carefully before you go down that road...but that's up to you bro.

See what I mean Otis2. That sucks! D00fy, just relax, bro, nothing means that you have heart disease despite what otis2 said. Believe me, I've spent 100's of hours, maybe even 1000's researching and reading various cardio problems and issues for my own personal reasons and what LONE_AZ was telling you was right on. So just relax, I'm serious, your problem is most probably an easilly treatable trivial one at worst. Relax and report in after the doc's appointment.

okay cool,il report what the doc tells me tommorow, just hope its nothing serious and that its treatable and stuff

but a question-if say he prescribes betablocker can i still proceed in june or later on with a test/eq cycle? in your opinion i know its a stupid question to ask but i would like to know as reference :)

Put it this way, I'm on a beta blocker right now. I've been doing deca for some time now and have a test prop/eq cycle planned for the near future. Does that help?

i really dont know,to tell u the truth im scared i was really looking foward to my cycle in june and i have no idea what the echocardiogram impression"The study revealed early diastolic dysfunction ,mild mr ,pr and tr"

meant i think Lone_AZ explained it as best as he can but got me lost with

"Diastolic Dysfunction is when ventricular filling is impaired; this will lead to a decrease in stroke volume of the heart and an increase in diastolic pressure. Your ejection fraction is decreased."

:(

All of this needs to be quantified for it to have any real meaning and significance for you. Lots of people are walking around with a leaky valve, MVP, decreased EF, enlarged hearts, etc., etc., etc. Get the numbers and go from there. If your heart was really bad you would have outward symptoms like extreme fatigue, etc. "Heart disease" has many meanings. Hypertension, aka high blood pressure, falls under the catagory of heart disease. Just get the numbers from your cardio doc, evaluate the situation with him or her and go from there. Just relax right now, your imagination is getting best of you.

Came back from the heart doc, said nothing serious, think he said there was some leakage or something but nothing serious and that every other person has it,and i think he also said something about a murmur but very little and its unnoticeable and i shouldn;t worry

as for the cycle??? help?

What are you waiting for? A small leak or back flow from a valve is nothing to worry about. Grow.... Grow.... Get huge

but my other doc made it a big deal that referred me to the heart doc, said to drop all lifting and stuff until i see the doc ,not sure what type of leak it was but he said it was really nothing serious and that every other person has it,also the HEART MEMOUR(SPELLING) it said wasn't really that bad, like it was very small or something

as for the cycle should i drop the dbols from the test/eq which are both at 400mg 10weeks...What about the Heart Memour can it be effected? or the small leak that i have?

is it possible for the heart to heal itself from the leak and little case of heart memour, sorry for the questions

Anything is possible. Your other Doc made a big deal out of it because he has to. It is called liability... I went through a similar deal with my ECG. I have a heart block. The cardiologist and he asked me if I was an athlete when I was younger, which I was. He said no big deal. When you place exertion on the heart from drugs or athletic exercise there are going to be permanent changes in the way it functions. Sometimes there are changes in the way the heart conducts nerve impulses and sometimes there are effects on the way a valve functions. You condition may improve, it may stay the same or it may get worse over a long period of time. At any rate heart valve replacement is very common. If it ever came to that then you are talking 40 or 50 years down the road. Provided the cardiologist has not ordered further tests, than I would live you life as you normally do.

Here are some simple thing you can do to improve the function of you heart.

Cut down on the caffeine no more than one cup of coffee a day
Low fat diet
Folic acid 800 mcg ED
Vitamin E 800 IU ED
Watch your BP…
Vitamin C As much as you can handle.

If you want to take the D-Ball than make sure your blood pressure stays within normal range

OTis 2 is the one who doesn't know what he is talking about. I work in Cardiology and I agree... see the doc and go from there. I do agree with the suggestion r/t salt and water retention.

question... what is your body weight and body fat? how much cardio do you do? How old are you? any other health problems that you know of?

bw 164,bf% 12.9 ,age 19, cardio maybe 2x a week but i think during the cycle it would be a bad idea to do cardio??

the cycle i have planned is

test 400mg week 1-10
eq 400mg week1-10
dbol 20 or 25mg 1-4
liquidex week 1-13

other health problems, does low testosterone levels count 77,should get more info later from my endocronlogist on what to do about those levels:(

also what are good ranges of BP?

thx guys

Hey Buffit,

i never claimed to be a goddamned cardiologist. I do know that it is wiser to err on the safe side though. he was making the possibility of delaying his cycle the most important thing and I dissagreed then and still do. Most of the advice he was receiving was very good but I felt he needed to hear a worst case scenario and thankfully his Doctor has eased his mind.

so 180/120 is bad or 180/80 ?

Yes, 180/120 is bad, very, very bad. In fact, 180 over anything is very bad. D00fy, my suggestion to you is to first take a deep breath and acknowledge that you are healthy and going to live a long and hopefully productive life. Next, sit down and start doing your homework. Read, read, read. Educate yourself on everything that is being discussed here. Knowledge truly is the power that will keep you healthy. Take your time, do the research and stay healthy.

yah definately researching the heart but i dont know where to start especially to look at good info on AS and heart :(

You need to be concerned with:

1. normal blood pressure
2. normal heart rate
3. normal cholesterol (eg low LDL and Homocysteine levels)

It all starts and ends there. If you can manage that, train and take AS, you'll be fine. I do it so I know you can to. If you read through the posts in this thread, you'll find the answers to most, if not all, to the answers to your questions.

thank you, appreciate your knowledge ,maybe il add the dbols after all:)

btw what is the normal heart rate, sorry for asking again
